On that same fateful day, my current dog, Persey, a miniature a bull terrier, was born. Therefore, August 13th is a very bittersweet day. I’m trying to learn this song to play for my Mom & Dad. My Mom used to sing this all the time when I was little. Thank you for making it so simple! I’m struggling learning ukulele. I can do the strums or I can do the chords but putting them together at the proper tempo is challenging. Your is the first YAMS tutorial I didn’t need to play at .75 or .5 speed. 🙏 Thanks!
Please, please do more songs like this! I'm just learning and what I find frustrating in the beginner books is the rate at which they progress without the opportunity to really get down the basics of being a beginner. In other words, I've learned the C, G7, F, and C7. Now I want to practice these chords only learning a variety of easy songs so I don't get bored playing the same few songs over and over again, and before I go on to learn new and more difficult chords. I've downloaded your PDFs for 3 of your easy songs. Thank you! (I just started learning at 2 p.m. this afternoon). I also can't find a good very easy songbook for absolute beginners. I'd love to learn many more songs like this one before moving on to the next step in my lessons.

Dear Ms B. I just started on my ukelele learning journey so that I can play to the children in my preschool room. SO many different teachers but found your lessons the best for beginners (me). Your pace and lesson structure are fantastic and perfect for learning - shows to go your curriculum training is on-point!
