This might be easier.: * If you created the PCB in standard edition, o[en it in standard edition. From the PCB view, select Export > EasyEDA. Open the PRO edition of EasyEDA. Select Import > Standard Edition and follow the prompts. Export to[Step. Open the step file in Fusion360. You should have a fully broken-down PCB and alll its parts.

This is the way. Thank you for mentioning this. I had no idea easyeda pro was free.

EasyEDA exports the 3D model unit size in 0.01 inch. If your scene size is in mm, then scale the model by 0.254 times

at 3:52 how are you selecting all of these? Even if I hold ctrl, it doesn't create any new ones on the PCB sketch layer. I also don't see the small box to the lower left that has things like "Geometry", "Selection Filter", and "Projection Link". It looks like maybe you did something at 3:39 to bring up that little thing, but I can't tell what. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. What technology was used for 3d printing the original enclosure at the beginning of the video? TY!

Couldn't you just export the mesh and scale it down to the right size after fixing the mesh? Length of the board in fusion / Actual board Length = Scale multiplier. Takes a couple minutes.

This is definitely an option. Have you tried it? The wrong scale wasn't the only problem: working with a directly imported mesh is very annoying, faces are missing or pointing in the wrong direction, there are far to many faces and reducing them removes important details, working with many faces is really slow etc. How is our experience with that?

@@danieleichhorn9533 I did.. mesh is really annoying. lol. I ended up using a combination of the methods. I used the exported sketch to make the board. Used "import manufactured parts" to place molex connectors and used the sketch to align them. Used the mesh to trace the vertical faces on a USB port. Much more work than it should've been.

Thank you Daniel. Very usefull. Easy Eda could provide a direct solution, due to number of user they have.
