Hello friends, today I have prepared an incredibly simple and beautiful recipe for delicious croissants. Even in France they don't know this secret! The dough turned out flaky and crispy! This is the most delicious pastry I have ever eaten! Nobody knows this trick. Be sure to try it, you only need a few ingredients and you can make this creamy bread recipe every day! Ingredients and recipe:
- Warm water 200 ml (1 cup)
- Warm milk 200 ml (1 cup)
- Yeast 10 g (1 tablespoon)
- Sugar 2 tbsp.
1. Stir until sugar and yeast are dissolved
2. Cover and let rise for 15-20 minutes
- Egg 1 pc.
- Egg white 1 pc.
- Put the yolks in a bowl, we still need them.
- Salt 1 teaspoon.
3. Stir until all ingredients are dissolved.
- Flour 650-670 g (add in portions).
4. Knead the dough, it should be soft and elastic.
5. Grease a bowl with vegetable oil.
6. Put the dough in the bowl and let it rise for 45-50 minutes.
7. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces.
8. Roll them into a ball.
9. Dust the table with flour.
10. Roll out each ball like in the video.
11. Repeat after me.
12. The diameter of the circle is 18-20 cm.
13. Place the rolled out dough circle on a plate.
14. Grease with butter
15. Roll out the other dough balls in the same way, grease them with butter and place them in a plate on top of the previous ball.
16. You should end up with 12 rolled out circles, stacked on top of each other.
17. The top circle does not need to be oiled.
18. Cover and let rise for 35-40 minutes.
19. Look how puffy and beautiful they are.
20. We got a wonderful puff pastry.
21. Place the dough on the table and knead it gently with your hands.
22. Roll out a large circle 3-4 mm thick.
23. Take a regular thread and cut the dough into 12 pieces.
24. Cut out the dough with a pizza cutter.
25. Fold each piece as shown in the video.
26. Shape our croissants, copy me.
27. How beautiful they have become!
28. Place on parchment paper to bake.
29. Cover and let rise for 35-40 minutes.
- Egg yolk 1 pc.
- Milk 1 tbsp.
30. Brush with a brush
31. Bake at 180°C (360°F) for 25-30 minutes. Cover with foil or parchment paper for the last 5 minutes.
