I enjoy the challenge of trying to squeeze a big sound out of the Palette. Especially, without side-loading a DIgitakt, Octatrack, Syntakt, Machinedrum, or any other drum machine for that matter because one might as well just use one of those boxes for the whole thing. Making it all happen in 62hp 4U is super fun and really stretches the mind and capabilities of the modules.
Industrial Music Electronics Kermit is the hero in this whole thing. It’s handling both lead, and sub-bass and also taking sidechain by using the onboard CV control over its own internal VCAs. It’s incredible and might be my new fav. Also, the Noise Engineering Sinc Bucina has proven to be a versatile LPG that packs a lot of functionality and sound choices in just 4hp.
