Salad ingredients:
2 cucumbers 180 grams / 6 oz.
Cherry tomatoes 200 grams / 7oz.
1 red onion, medium-sized.
A bunch of parsley.
Mix of lettuce leaves 100 grams / 3.5 oz.
Ingredients for dressing:
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried tomatoes
1 teaspoon mustard seeds.
Black pepper to taste.
Freshly squeezed juice of half an orange.
Prepare salad dressing: Combine all ingredients and stir.
Method of preparation: Cut cucumbers into wedges, halve cherry tomatoes, finely chop red onion, roughly chop a bunch of parsley, put everything in a bowl and add various lettuce leaves. Pour over the salad dressing and stir. A light and delicious salad is ready!
2 Recipe.
Salad ingredients:
Chinese cabbage 350 grams / 12 oz.
1 cucumber 180 grams / 6 oz.
Cherry tomatoes 200 grams / 7 oz.
Bunch of parsley
Green onions 2-3 stalks.
Canned tuna 100 grams / 3.5 oz.
Light sauce:
Vegetable oil 50 ml. / 0.1 pint (about 6 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Half a teaspoon salt
Half a tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons mustard seeds
Black pepper to taste
Juice of half a lemon.
Method of preparation: Roughly chop the cabbage, using the tender part of the leaves. Cut the cucumber into strips. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Roughly chop the parsley and scallions. Drain the oil from the canned tuna. Add the dressing to the vegetables and stir, then add the tuna meat and toss the salad lightly.
Preparing the sauce: Combine all the sauce ingredients and stir well.
3 Recipe.
Salad ingredients:
Cabbage 250 grams / 8.8 oz.
Carrots 250 grams / 8.8 oz.
Cucumber 200 grams / 7 oz.
1 medium red onion.
A bunch of parsley.
2-3 stalks of scallions.
Ingredients for the salad dressing:
Vegetable oil (I used sunflower oil) 60 ml / 0.12 pint.
Vegetable oil can be measured in 6 tablespoons.
1 teaspoon salt.
black pepper to taste.
2 teaspoons dried tomatoes.
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar.
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds.
Preparation: Cut the cabbage into thin slices. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the cucumber into strips. Cut the onion into half rings. Chop the spring onions and parsley. Put all the ingredients in a bowl. Add the dressing and stir.
Preparation of the dressing: Pour vegetable oil into a bowl, add salt, pepper, dried tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar and toasted sesame seeds. Stir the dressing well
