Miami Grill used to be Miami Subs. It was an obsession before they closed all of their locations. Pitbull bought in, and I had such high hopes. It was legitimately where everyone went at 2am, when clubs used to close earlier.

FL native here. PDQ is awesome, however for some reason I always thought it stood for "pretty damn quick". Guess I never noticed the words on the door about quality. Always amazing chicken though, the real name makes sense too.

Waiting on the Nicaraguan food to make it's grand entrance. Fritanga Caña Brava, Pinolandia, Madroño Restaurant, are just a few suggestions. Recommend a Fritanga plate (carne/cerdo/pollo asada/o, queso frito, tajadas, crema, gallopinto, ensalada), the Baho, vigoron or chancho con yuca, a Nacatamal, and Cacao or Milca to drink. For desert some Buñuelos and Tres Leches.

A couple of points, if I may. Miami Grill started in the 1980s as a sub place, including "sub" in the store's name. Then in the 1990s they partnered with Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips. They always offered those gyros, my favorite chain fast food item. They have 30 locations, mainly in the US South. In my experience, the quality varies from location to location, franchise to franchise. PDQ is another chain that started in Tampa in 2011 and then expanded to every part of Florida (except MINE until a year ago) Georgia, New Yawk and Joisey. The closest one to my part of Florida, Aventura, is 20 minutes away. I would like to try it, but with so damned many chicken joints around me I'm not about to travel to the next county OR halfway across my county just to eat fried chicken. As for your choices of Cuban food, it was fortunate. There are TONS of those kinds of places stretched around the metro Miami area.

Hi Brennen :) I just moved out of south Florida. I lived an hour out of Fort Lauderdale in lake worth, there’s a Mexican restaurant that my husband and I use to always go to called tacos Al carbon. I figured I’d give you guys a good place to eat since you new there. :)

First things first, I’m gonna repeat what everyone else has said and never walk your dog near any body of water because a gator will absolutely snatch it up. Now, as for some other great spots; Arun’s Indian Kitchen is hands down the best Indian restaurant in all of South Florida! I also recommend the Char-Hut for some amazing burgers. And last but not least, Pollo Tropical is a place you absolutely need to eat at.

Miami grill (aka Miami subs) used to be the hangout after leaving the clubs (at 2-4 in the morning) food was usually always on point (good) ;-p

There is a chicken place in south Florida called Huey Magoos. The chicken is pretty good and it was started here by one of the guys behind Wing stop. Three years ago they only had a couple locations down here but recently started opening up a lot more and spreading out to other states. Should defenitly check it out. Also in Pompano Beach there is a cheesesteake spot called Old School Philly that is pretty good.

Finally Miami Grill! I love that spot..I'm surprise many Florida RU-vidrs never tried it... Also I love La Granja! Anyway I'm few seconds into the video let me see what you try!

Yo, it may be a drive from where youre at (grew up in the area, remember when the cuban place opened) but Bud's chicken and seafood is never a miss! Definitely recommend. Also, find hole in the wall seafood spots. They normally have the freshest seafood and best flavor also most of them, they wont rip you off.

If you are in South FL you have to try Carribean Food. Fast Food Spots: Pollo Tropicale Golden Krust and , Chef Creole are a few.

A good recommendation is Southport Raw Bar, especially if you like raw oysters, shrimp, dam good burgers.

Since yall in Florida, in my hometown there is multiple food places. Clearwater Florida. They have a beach too over in Clearwater. Also on Gulf to Bay Blvd. There is a restaurant called hooters and it’s the first one to be built, if I recall. Also in my own opinion there is also a restaurant called Mugs n’ Jugs which has the best wings they are huge and their honey bbq is the best! They also have a drive through on the same street I said earlier as a drive through which is sketchy because it used to be a checkers. Clearwater beach also has a lot of restaurants and a pizza place on the strip that’s good. Lots of tourist go there and summer breakers.

That Miyi la cubanita location used to be a Nathan's hotdogs with arcade games, the back of the building was like a train as well. You went to so many good local spots, bro if you guys get the chance try out Mima's Cuban Cafe in Margate, some real cuban food that's amazing.
