In today's video, we had a suggestion to try a restaurant near The Villages and Ocala called the Flying Boat Tap Room. The restaurant is technically located in Belleview, Florida, which is in between Ocala and The Villages. We had never heard of this restaurant before until someone suggested it and we are so thankful they did! What a hidden gem restaurant in Florida. Going in the Tap Room, we didn’t know what to expect and most of the time, the menus at restaurants like this aren’t very big. However, this place had an amazing menu! They had so many food options. Also, the staff was really laid back and cool. With it being a tap room, they had a ton of beers and ciders to choose from. They give you free samples of the whatever beers you want to try so we sampled a few and actually found some really good ciders, even a stinkin’ good one. We also tried multiple entrees including guacamole, a chicken bowl, and a cheeseburger pizza that tasted like a Big Mac! We thought all the food was really good. Next up, we had to try some of their amazing dessert options so we went with the Horchata Balls. They were unique but also good! So many options to choose from. They had some merch and we left with a sticker. Overall, this is a hidden gem restaurant near The Villages and Ocala. We would go back again and order more food. If you are near the area and looking for a great restaurant, try the Flying Boat Tap Room. Oh and the theming was great!
