Eating at Tremain's Tavern at Lakeside Inn in Downtown Mount Dora, FL | Best Chicken Pot Pie Ever

In today's video, we were staying at the Lakeside Inn in Downtown Mount Dora, FL, and wanted to try the restaurant they have. They say they have three restaurants but really all three share the same menu. The difference is the area of the hotel you want to eat in. You can eat on the front porch, the bar, or the dining area. The menu had a lot of great options and by far the chicken pot pie was absolutely the best. Some of the best we have ever had. All the food was delicious and enough to share. The dessert was also great. This is actually a really great restaurant in Downtown Mount Dora, FL. The cool thing is, you don't need to be staying at the hotel to eat there. So, if you are looking for a restaurant in Mount Dora, we would recommend trying this one!

Reminds me of The Trophy Room at Old Kinderhook. I will be going there and getting that pot pie and dessert…count on it!

We ate there many times years ago when they did the holiday buffet. They showed us a secret door where the original Speakeasy was during Prohibition. A Classic wonderful spot, thanks for reviewing.

Nice review! Fun place to stay. Challenge you to do a role reversal where Tember does the primary camera narration and Alex does the wave and color commentary. Could be fun? Or not lol

Wow never saw a burger for $22, the pasta looks great and the Chicken pot pie would be my choice also the crust looks great

Looks wonderful but I would have chose that briskit over the pasta anyday. If worried about the price, I would have sacrificed the drink and had water to have the briskit. But then again, I dont drink! 😅 Tembers chicken pot pie looked awesome! Beautiful place!

The prices were very high. I would not pay that much for pasta or a burger. I enjoyed your review.

My husband and I are handicapped and would love to eat there, but I haven't seen any handicapped access to the restaurants at the Inn.

Hello! Dont quote us on this but we believe at the side of the building, they have a ramp that would take you to the lobby where you can access the restaurant. Maybe worth checking out sometime!

Food looked wonderful, it is always the quality not the quantity. As a comparison for you, just the Chateaubriand (no alcohol or starter or dessert) in Arnold Palmer in The Villages is $99 for two to share (you do get bread). It is fantastic but your food was good value.

Yeah good was so amazing! Wow that’s expensive but it probably is really amazing! We will have to try it sometime!
