thank you Timmy for telling your story about the stutter yesterday; I don't have a stutter but I do have complex mental health issues, and sometimes I can go through periods of healing and progress to the point where I'm so proud of myself, but then the "slightest" trigger (what to someone else might seem like nothing) will crush me, cause a horrific meltdown that takes days to recover from, and it genuinely feels like I've undone months or years of progress and relapsed completely your story (as well as the fact that you so brilliantly showed up for us, your audience, the next day) is testament to the fact that it's not over, we can always get up and keep going

Bucees is a Texas staple! I had no idea they expanded all the way to Florida already. They’re probably the best paid convenience store workers in the country. Like Raising Cane’s, they seem to know how to treat their employees.

OMG THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Bucees is such an experience and I'm so glad you got to experience it! The closest one to me is 3 hours and I would totally drive 3 hours solely for the beaver chips, beef jerky, and brisket sandwiches. So good!!!

They have a little place next to the sandwiches to grab pickles, onions, cheese, all that stuff for your sandwiches

You have to get the beef jerky from the jerky counter where it is fresh. The pre-packaged stuff is just like any other store bought jerky.The brisket itself is usually good but I agree that they use way too much sauce and the sauce tastes super processed. Great video as always!!

So happy you decided to visit Buc-ees! I live near the one in Sevierville, TN, which is said to be the largest they have built to date. I have tried the snacks, and they are hit or miss (Beaver Nuggets, yes-Cinnamon Beaver Nuggets, nope). I haven’t tried the sandwiches yet, and I’m glad that you reviewed them so I know what to expect! Hang in there and keep working on your speech techniques. We all have something we struggle with and sometimes we just get so busy with life we forget to do things to care for ourselves. All you need to do is just keep being your own sweet, authentic self. Oh my God! I never even considered the idea of you going to Buc-ee’s & now I’m shook! ❤️ I love Buc-ees!! It’s a required stop any time I go on a road trip to Texas. 😂 Love their pulled pork & Beaver nuggets! The fact you chose to get the banana pudding without it being suggested. It’s just as iconic as the beaver nuggets! Also, you can custom order burritos & sandwiches at one of their kiosks. It’s truly a miracle if you walk out of there spending less than $50. 😂😂

You have to get the fresh beef jerky at the counter. The hot & spicy jerky is my most expensive addiction. It’s very spicy you’ll love it!

love that you got to experience Buccees. I have to remind all my new Buccees visitors that this came out of Texas and that you can drive 10 HOURS and still be in the state, so we always planned pitstops around Buccees for the bathroom, snacks, and BBQ. And if you start your road-trip in the early morning and wake up enough for breakfast, they have breakfast burritos and sometimes croissant sandwiches. Enjoy your visits, everyone! and a note- there are plain bbq sandwiches and next to them options for ones with pickles and onions.

There is a leaner half and a fattier half to each brisket. Chopped brisket is usually taken from the fattier lobe. Sliced is usually leaner. You can always request they chop from the leaner side.

All kinds of conditions can cause a glitch like what you experienced. For me, I can stutter when I get too many ideas wanting out of my brain at once. A loved one had a stroke a couple years ago and, although his physical skills and abilities are intact, his speech is impacted (the condition is anomic aphasia) to the point that he glitches like you do; it’s something he struggles with, but it’s getting easier to predict and prevent. You’re doing so well. Even though I’m new here, I’m super proud of you. Thanks, Timmy!

I love your Buc-ee's shirt, so cute. I don't have a stutter, but I get anxiety and panic attacks in the grocery store that make me feel like I have to leave at times. It happened yesterday and I felt the same way you explained, kind of down for the rest of the day. Luckily my husband is understanding too. We all have challenges, thanks for sharing.

Hi Timmy, I don’t think I have ever commented on any you tube channel or video I have watched but after discovering you last night after another bout with insomnia, I felt compelled to thank you for your honesty and candor in this video regarding your stutter. Although I can’t completely relate to the experience of having a stutter, I was diagnosed with epilepsy in my early 20’s. The combination of the seizures themselves and the medication cause extreme difficulties at times with memory recall and at times word pronunciation. As a veteran special education teacher of nearly 20 years when communication is vital, this can be extremely embarrassing and an often misunderstood and deeply personal issue. I appreciated your honesty when describing how to others our struggle may seem like a fleeting moment but to us, those seconds of not being able to recall a common word like “egg” to a class of third graders or not being able to utter a street name correctly when trying to tell my friend on the phone where I am, so she can help me find her house, or like you struggling to communicate properly in stores or other public places and my loved ones looking at me helplessly as your partner did with you, are all in experiences I can very easily relate to. I just wanted to thank you for this video. I watched it several times and even shared it with my family because it captured the hurt, fear, and frustration I often feel but can’t sometimes articulate. I also began to read your comment section and the hoards of special needs parents and viewers you have impacted made me cry happy tears. Thank you for making me laugh, giving me another reason to stay up late, and providing validation that I am not alone In my struggles. Thank you for making a difference. ❤

My friend in high school had a REALLY bad stutter. Back then, the teacher yelled at him (the 80's) and his stutter got worse. I actually yelled at her that he had a stutter & she stopped being rude to him right away 😠

Everytime i pass thru Baytown Texas i stop at Bucee's and spend an obscene amount of money on brisket sandwiches and souvenirs!!! Love it!!!

We are from Ohio and there is sadly not a buc-ees BUT when my husband was stationed in Mississippi we got to go to one. and OMG I didn't feel well that day so i went simple with just a sausage wrapped into tortilla and it was SO YUMMY! and it didn't upset my stomache. So pleased! and it was so fun to just look around at everything. LOVE IT hopefully they open one close to us in the future. We drive 3 hrs just to go to Jungle Jims so I'd definitley drive that to go to Buc-ees,

That’s the thing about the nuggets, you can’t stop. The cherry maple jerky is one of my all time favorites

The brownies are amazing fudge brownies and the breakfast time items are sooo good

Next time try the hot cinnamon sugared nuts. Yum!

Timmy I have been to that Buc-ee's and I found that the best BBQ sandwich was the SLICED brisket. They don't always have it out , you might have to wait for it because it is more popular than the chopped. You should try that next time. They also told us that we can get one free small ramican of BBQ sauce incase we need extra for any of the BBQ sandwiches. Just so you know for next time.

We stop at buc-ee's every trip to Dallas Texas the bbq sandwiches you can get fresh made and get pickles etc in your sandwich the ones you bought were pre-made with just meat. The nuggets remind me of corn pop's cereal with caramel soooo good

I wouldn't say I like fudge either, the chocolate kind, but I found that I do like blueberry cheesecake fudge or orange cream fudge. Some of the different flavors rock. All are still very sweet and I can only eat bites at a time, but if I want something sweet, a bite or 2 will satisfy my sweet tooth.

Never heard of Buc-ee's but then again I live in Illinois. It looks like a great selection of food. I use the Wet Ones Tropical Splash wipes to clean my breathing mask. They smell so good, like Pina Colada. I love coconut/pineapple drinks and smells.

Our family favorite it the sausage on a stick!!!! You gotta try it next time! It reminds us of my grandma's homemade summer sausage and its so good! The closest stores are 4 hrs away from us so we stop everytime we drive to Florida or Tennessee to visit family! My neice collects their t shirts , she has like 20 of them , we get the holiday theme ones. The fudges and sandwiches are always so good. I know you couldn't film the bathroom, but for us ladies, it's an OASIS IN THE DESERT! Always clean and stocked well! Heck I'd eat in there! Yes it's that clean!

That is Caramel Puffcorn.. you can find it in regular grocery stores.. a different brand, in the chip aisle. Mike-Sells puffcorn.

I have used liquid smoke for years and know it to be just the condensation gathered from burning the proper wood and collecting that smoke. A totally natural product that tastes great. What I didn't realize because I always buy Wrights (the original), is some brands have additives. That probably is what is in that brisket. That sounds no good. And thanks for the tip to not get the Arby's version.
