Parmesan doesn't have "salt crystals" in them - it's binded amino acides from the protein in the cheese. That's the case for most aged hard cheeses having crunchy crystal bits.

They are called tyrosine crystals. Cheeses with more age have even more crystals in them.

Dairylea Dunkers= Ritz Handi-Snacks in the US. Except the cheese is orange here 😂 and the best part is the red plastic spreading stick in the container that always breaks the cracker, no matter what lol

I lost my dad a couple years ago and watching Ollie and his dad have these experiences gives me so much joy. Jealous I don’t have viral videos of my dad now that he is gone.
