One thing really hit me throughout this video and made me really sad and happy for the Japanese park. The prices... Both the US and even my local Paris park is getting to the stage where it's 11 dollars/euros for a plain hotdog and ticket prices... COMPLETELY different. I'm glad you have people running the Tokyo disney that have actual respect and care for their park guests still
Yes! I completely agree! I found the prices at Tokyo Disney to actually be quite reasonable but the prices in the US (and unfortunately to hear, even in Paris) are just ridiculous 😢
@@butfirstboba Difference is that TDR is not owned by Disney. Still, compared to Disneyland Anaheim DLP is pretty okay with entrance prices and hotel prices
You seem like the type of person I would love to go to Disney with. Just plod around the park and eat everything 😂 I visited Tokyo Disneyland pre-pandemic from Australia and I absolutely loved it. So much has changed since then though. I really loved this vlog. 😊
Honestly I find the food at theme parks to be much more interesting to me than the rides themselves 😂 Hope you're able to make it over to Tokyo Disney for another round and get to try all the new foods they have!!
Wow, this was a great video! You’re so well spoken and actually descriptive of the food (and critical when needed, which is great bc it feels like an honest review :’). You gained a new sub today! Looking forward to future vids.
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I really appreciate those and the support! I honestly thought this video was a bit awkward haha so your comment makes me feel a bit better about it but I'm going to definitely try to improve on other videos to come!
I am a Japanese who is studying English. Your English is so beautiful that I want to learn it. I don't know where you are from, but it sounds like a beautiful US American English pronunciation.
Watched this whole thing and never realized how underrated you were! The quality was so good, i was expecting you to be really big. Thanks for the vid!
This is an amazing video! I love all the different things Disney in Japan offers in terms of food. I hope to go one day. I don't know where you put all that food and drink in one day! I'm amazed.
Basically Tokyo Disney came about when OLC (the company that operates Tokyo Disney) wanted to build a official Disney park in Japan. It was denied countless times by Disney until an opportunity came up when Disney was building EPCOT. EPCOT was extremely over budget and Disney was at it’s lowest point. That’s when OLC made the proposal that they will entirely build the park with their money and share some of the profits with Disney under a license. Since Disney was basically desperate for any money they accepted it and that’s why Tokyo Disney exists today!
Oh my gosh!!!! I'm planning to go to Tokyo Disneyland in like 2029 because I'm waiting for them to finish their reconstruction on the newly designed Space Mountain! It's said to close in 2024, can't make it before, and reopen in 2027, so I'll give it a few years so I can avoid the new ride crowds. BUT I enjoyed you so much! Wish I had a friend like you to show me around. I'm a picky eater and I'm nervous of going but I want to see all of the Disney Castles. This makes me a little more calmer as what I would eat. Great job! Keep it up! Now I'm gonna see what other videos you have! 😁😁😁
Ooo when I went last month they had already closed down Space Mountain! Since they closed it early maybe that'll mean they'll reopen early as well 🧐 don't hold me on that though haha. I feel like Tokyo Disneyland has so much variety of foods that I'm sure you'll be able to find something to your liking! And thanks for the compliments!!
at 12:36 i literally glanced away for a second and thought someone was coming out of the bushes to throw something at you, the editing in this is hilarious lol,,, i want to go so bad T_T thanks for the video!!
Same here!! I'm so glad I was finally able to try them! If you're ever able to make it out here pro tip: the Crystal Palace buffet has unlimited green alien mochi 👀
I forget if it's listed directly on the physical menus at the restaurants but everything is labeled on their menus online! and yes! definitely a video on Disney SEA to come 😄
your editing is great!! definitely makes me want to go to Disney Tokyo even though I’m on the other side of the world lol (also completely unrelated, but I lovedddd seeing basically every single pair/group behind you wearing matching headbands, it was so cute!!🥰)
Thanks for the compliment! Hope you can make it out here someday! But also yeah I feel like everyone here gets really into the spirit and dressed up for Disney 😂 it's pretty cool to see
@ 3:16 - the rice bread may be a different option for ppl who are gluten intolerant. It could also be an option for ppl that follow a diet that requires them to eat a set amount of carbs. Or, as in my case: I have Short Gut Syndrome. So I cannot digest a lot of foods that are high in carbs or fiber. I also cannot digest foods made from wheat, oats & corn. Rice bread is a godsend for me. ✌🏻😊
Oh interesting I see! That definitely makes sense then and it's pretty great to see that Disneyland took some steps to be able to accommodate for certain dietary restrictions (which honestly is kind of rare to find here in Japan 😅)
@@melissadunton3534 Haha 7/11 foods here ain't bad so I'm sure you'll at least still be able to eat some delicious foods but hopefully I can post some helpful videos for people with dietary restrictions before you come visit!
I have a question about the payments in the park. Do they do gift cards there like in the US parks? I find on vacation that helps me budget better! I’m coming next year! So excited!
They accept Tokyo Disney Resort gift cards on food and merchandise at the parks! (they'll have to be bought from Tokyo Disney though and not the US counterpart)
Yeah!! I hate how everything at US Disney is so overpriced 😔 I feel like maybe prices here aren't ballooning because another company operates the Tokyo Disney theme parks
@@butfirstboba it’s crazy how hard it is to find food content of that park covering any restaurants. TDR dose a great job but variety of opinions is always needed.
@@JackBLU3 Ah! Yeah it's a bit difficult to make reservations sometimes and I feel like the food at restaurants there aren't as interesting (?) or themed haha but I'll see what I can do
Yes! There are definitely some vegetarian options at the restaurants in the park but the options are limited. I think Tokyo Disneyland actually lists the spots that offer vegetarian options on their website!
You gotta REALLY calm down with the editing, they are not even funny at all but honestly just plain annoying and childish. It will be 100x better without those memes randomly floating around in your video
