I've broken the styrofoam container a dozen times because I stirred it so vigorously. It's like the more excited the bacteria gets and foams the more I need to stir it.

Maricrisjoy bacuajon that’s just the way it is when mixed up it goes fluffy and bubbly and that’s what makes the natto taste like that fluffy and airy :)
I won't bash it, even though I doubt I'll ever try it. The fact is, us Westerners also consume disgusting foods which taste good only because we've adapted to it. Dare I remind you that cheese is fermented milk? A fermented plant based product sounds a whole lot more appetizing than a fermented animal bi-product. Let's be fair.
Natto is actually really good, and cheap. They come in packs of 3 for around $1.99. My favorite is the Tokyo brand natto because the soy beans are larger.
i tried natto and it is a very delicious food. If u hate the consistency and u eat it ur taste buds says no to it. it depends on the texture that ur eating . if u love that kind of consistency and u eat it . it will taste like heaven
Im craving for natto.. even though I haven't taste them yet in my entire life 🤤 Edit : I've tasted it. It does taste weird, but in a good way. I like it

Well, I know where I went wrong on mixing my natto. I didn't mix it enough but it was still delicious. Mixed it with the sauce that it came with, added some green onions, steamed some rice, and put a fried egg on top.
@@itstrueaweeb It’s really not easily described. It has a very unique taste, however, if I had to pick, it would be a tad bit salty with a little hint of spice (from the mustard)
Wendoline Acosta I've had it i really enjoyed the taste its really slimey and at first it smells really bad and tastes like coffee beans. But its really fundamental for your health.

Personally, I don’t mind this food! It’s delicious just not my thing! But I love seeing people eat it! If you don’t know what it tastes like, it has not much flavour and has a bit of a coffee bean hit (very little) It’s slimy and I’m Ove the texture! Again, it’s some people’s favourite and I totally respect that!! Love yall
I thought it looked really delicious and yummy, so I convinced my entire family to go with me and eat at the nearest Japanese store just to try it. Idk, but I find it so bitter. Is it really supposed to be THAT bitter?

msnina4u It is a very unique taste, I like it with Soy Sauce and chopped green onions. Some people say it smells like stinky feet but I don't think that is a very good comparison. Should look up the health benefits of Natto, is very healthy food. Is fermented Soy beans.
