This should be mandarory to show to elementary grade kids. The fact that kids are teached to recycle, shut the lights off and taking shorter showers, shows how unserious most people are about adressing the true causes of the mess were in. Going vegan is faaaaaaar more impactful than most people think, and this documentary is the education folks need

If you’re like me and those substitutes make you crave the real thing, get recipes that are already veggies. There’s a lot of Asian foods high in veggies that actually taste good. I just need to find a veggie taco that actually tastes good.

Yeah you don't need farming and land to grow any of those things you listed. You'd be causing more damage than good with increased farmland. How about the factories you need to make those vegan foods. You don't even power for chickens or cows.

Blue zone diets have been veggie, fruit and fish based. All those areas were near seas. Now we can’t eat the fish, so they left them off when talking about that. But that made me wonder what else was altered.

Indeed, overpopulation is part of the problem. The Drawdown Project, a collaboration of over 200 researchers and climate scientists named a plant-rich diet as number four out of the 80 most effective things we can do. Interestingly, educating girls was number six. I imagine that is related to the overpopulation issue.

Seems like the real problem here is too many humans on the planet. In 1950 there was 2.5 billion people. Now theres 8 billion people. Thats a lot more strain on resources and the environment. If the population won’t decrease it will only get worse no matter what diet we have
