He’s just a regular bloke who really enjoys his food, and I’d love to go on three or four of his outings ‘cause he seems to get some great take-away trips.
@@uwotm835 I’m sorry but Danny’s, and I guess yours, idea of pussy is a wee bit different from mine. The things that guy does with a cat and a bucket of lard is beyond common decency.
I bet there are going to be a ton of RU-vid posers carrying their table and chair with them to take out joints. Before that happens we should come up with a name for Danny's style. I really want this happy guy to have all the good things life has to offer. My new best chum.
There's a certain demographic off us that are needing a channel like this with a normal bloke some good food bit off a chuckle at ourselves...hope you do well my friend
J Shaw, I couldn’t agree more. In the entire world there’s nothing I’d like more than a good take-away (Chinese, curry, sausage in batter), and then popping around to the pub for a pint or two . . .
No question this channel is great, I wondered why the algorithm brought this channel to my 'recommended', but I am so thankful it did.....Liked and subscribed immediately. You speak from the heart, now I am a cockney sparrow but I have to say your accent is priceless!
I found this channel over the weekend, when his review of Grandma's breakfast appeared in my recommendations, at which point there were less than 20k subscribers...it is now north of 70k and must surely pass the magical 100k within the next few days. I have to say that this is probably my favourite review so far...I have watched a few...and one that had me salivating, that food looked amazing, almost worth a trek up to York!
@@Northstander The amount of people I have seen say it was recommended and the camera quality along with the amount of videos in such a short space of time makes me think this is paid for. As in a business, TV kind of thing. Well either way he is a sound lad.
I think we are all in the same boat. It popped up in my recommended channels as well. And I’m all the way out in Portland, Oregon! Really fun to see the food and hear the accents. Great stuff! Also, Portland, has amazing take out, but here we call them food carts.
@Michael Gadsden, I'm a sarf lunduner meself, the vids are oozing with what I take to be good honest northern wit and charm, love it and I think I'm addicted lol Makes one proud to be English.
Mate you need to get yourself down to York more often, there’s so many independent food places to go to! Would highly recommend visiting Spark, you can get food from almost anywhere there
Strongly advise people who go to York having watched this, to use the Park and Ride system. Parking's expensive in the city and in non-Covid times you'll be stuck in slow moving traffic getting in and out, whereas the P&R buses get priority lanes and run frequently from several locations on the city's ring road.
Only discovered this guys site today.. He comes across as a proper stand up bloke..no nonsense says it how it is.. I've subbed and will deffo be recommending him to others.🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏
This guy is deffo due to take over youtube haha, You just cant have such a good idea, a jolly Yorkshire man, and good ol honestly with CHARISMA, i cant stop watching em
Spot on. I don’t use places that have huge menus as the food is usually crap. You know when they have a small menu most times the food is quality because it’s cooked fresh, hence the small food options.
Gonna be a big star is Danny believe me. I’ll say one thing tho I couldnt use a wooden knife and fork it literally makes my teeth curl. It’s just nice to see a normal down to earth man doing something so simple yet effective. Like one of the lads
I love living in York! Our food places are growing so much! This food court is my go to whenever im in town. Huge variety available! Great content cocker
This must have been filmed a good while ago. The watch kiosk hasn't been there for ages and now there's a fantastic pizza place directly adjacent to the Thai hut that I'd recommend. I go to this Thai vendor every week - fantastic portions, very well priced, brilliant service, excellent waiting times and most of all amazing food. 10/10 would recommend the Thai vendor in York. Whilst favourite is the yakisoba crispy chicken I'd also recommend both the dim sum and prawn tempura. One of the top places to eat in York in my opinion.
I live in Thailand and i been watching this guy doing the takeaway things and makes me miss Blighty all the more. I can't stop smiling when he talks. Thanks so much chap for this it's wonderful.
+B B 30 years ago, I had the best "all you can eat" bbq I've ever had in my life - atop a 5* Hotel for just a fiver! Carved ice statues, ornate fruit & vegetable carvings as well. Steak, chicken & lobster! Absolutely amazing. I stayed at the Dusit Thani - wonderful hotel. Gosh, I miss Thailand!
@@blank-dr2kx May be an element of that, particularly as it seems the cameraman was allowed into the shop to film the chef at work. Could be easily proven by sending someone else a few days later without camera and ordering same.
I finally got to try one of the takeaway places Danny has visited. Been watching him and have been a fan for a while now. This is my first visit to the UK and to York. The food here is good. The spring rolls and dumplings are great. I had the green curry with chicken and it sadly was not as good as what I can get at any Thai restaurant in my hometown of Louisville, KY of all places. But it was good and the staff there is super friendly and I’m eating this meal in York surrounded by wonderful friendly people. So I cannot complain. If you are near this place please pop in and give it a try. Cheers everyone.
Man id love to get a picture and say hello to this fella, been feeling down recently and watching his videos really take my mind of things and help me feel abit normal
Just found your channel & mate you're a legend. A big thumbs up from me in Sth Australia & watching you thoroughly enjoy your food so much is half of the watching experience. Cheers to you my friend & keep up,your lovely & unique videos
I've met so many British people who are absolutely hopeless with food, but this legend is single-handedly repairing my (unfair) prejudice! I love this channel, keep it up!
G'Day from down under mate. Another Danny loving your channel. Thai food is huge here in Oz, so this takeaway was right up there! I swear you're Peter Kay's lost brother, but you'll be just as famous with these tasty treats you're sharing! Keep it up!
Everyone knows a friendly guy around the uk like Danny and that’s why we relate to his videos. Top viewing again. One question, does he actually finish the meals or share with camera man?
I visit York several times a year (usually) and that is one of my favourite areas to go to. I have had food from them before and it has always been fantastic. Great work. Good to see you enjoy it too.
Live 20 minutes from York. Can’t spell the Thai we normally go to, but, it’s right near hotel chocolate. However, defiantly going to try this next time we’re in York centre. Had gyros in the same food court they were amazing too.
@@ericwebster4513 there's always one, probably a sad old ugly taxi driver who frequents pattaya! 😅 Same here, my Thai wife was studying her Masters degree in UK. They like to tar them all with the same brush! Nice to have the wife cook a good pad krapow gai or moo without having to pay an arm and a leg for it at the local restaurant! 👍😁
Love a place that doesn't hold back with thier sauce. I'll definitely be visiting this place the lady seemed really friendly and takes pride in her food!
I’m salivating for that Thai fried rice! I’m not easily impressed normally with Thai foods but that looks like the business esp they cook their dishes on the spot.
Scope, as a Yank, I would suggest Google Maps for the geography and any search engine for the restaurants. If you plan on going, the general knowledge you’ll glean is worth the time. I researched a chip shop he’d visited and I wept when I saw how cheap it was . . .
