great video! had to resleeve my zoro cards after this lmao. in general, when do you want to swing immediately with low cost characters, and when do you want to build board?

Matchup dependant and hand as well. Problem with Zoro is that it's very case by case deck as we play on low curve and have a lot of options. For example if you open hand like Buggy, Buggy, Magura, Makino vs decks like Sakazuki. You can put a lot of pressure if you go 2nd -> T1: Buggy, Buggy; T2: 3x 7k swing using buffing characters or even check 6k with leader and if they take follow with 7k and 8k. But as a rule of thumb I would say build a board for the first 2-3 turns. Once you took 2 life you start swiging so your cheap characters tank enemy hits. Also in a matchups where you play 5 cost Marco on curve you will most likely start swinging Turn 4 with your characters - for example Yellow matchups.

I run similar but I still run the 4 still of 2 cost sanji to take a life and become an almost 8k swing and if i never play it it’s still a solid 2k counter. Do you recommend I still keep them ?

Sanji is good vs Enel and Nami so if you expect them, then sure keep him!

It's a strong card and solid consideration. However, in my testing I can't find spot for him because: 1. For unblockable Diable Jambe is more efficient. 2. For Rush finisher Kid & Killer brings more value. 3. For 5 cost character on curve Marco sticks on board and threatens 7k every turn going forward in mu without bottom decking. If you decide to play Rush Luffy, let me know how it works for you!

In my testing Marco is a must. You don't want to play him vs Saka or RP Law because of bottom decking but he is amazing against everything else!

It's obvious what happened, he didn't realize or just forgot that Marco was a 6k attacker and misplayed his Otama trying to clear it. I would also argue he shouldn't have used leader effect 1st turn without shambling into something that ramps Don!! back, but that wasn't the worst thing in the world.
