Welcome in team! Bringing you guys my favorite leader / character in all of one piece. Happy to present birdcage doffy, funny enough this is one of the decks that I first did that blew up on the channel. Im more than ecstatic if this video gets anywhere near that one. Thank you all for all the support here, the comments, community, it's been much more than I could of asked for, really thank you ^^ Today we jump into my favorite variants of Birdcage Doflamingo in EB01, this is one of my favorite decks to play atm in the current meta. And it only gets better during the next set, I sure hope you guys give any of these variants a try and lemme know what you think in the comments! Douglass Bullet, was made for this deck, and in the current meta he shuts down every single blocker in the game thats relevant, allowing cage and your big boys to get in some big damage. :)
that 24 minute intro is a big part of what I like about your content. it's like someone at locals sharing their tech choices and you provide basic examples. I love perspectives on "off-meta" decks the most in this card game.
I appreciate that, this is one of the decks that truly put me out there. Doffy is my favorite character, all time (all anime’s) so being able to build a deck centered around him is great. On top of that G/P Doffy, we have lil relevant content floating around on utube. So I wanted to make sure I went over as many things as I could. I have 7 G/P Doffy builds here on the channel, and this far I think this covers the most. Just happy people enjoy it, thank you :)
I love birdcage doffy, so I'm really glad that this leader won the poll! I definitely plan on making this deck, I like the one with 4 queens, 4 utas, 2 bullets and 2 spiderwebs. I feel it is more consistent than the other one because of Queen's card draw. Thanks for this video and all of your other ones, definitely my favourite OPTCG creator at the moment.
I appreciate the love! Speaking of builds here, I gave many different variations ( I normally do ) but its also to help newer players ( Queen is expensive ) so you dont feel you "HAVE TO HAVE IT" But queen, helps you tremendously . Idk if someone said that but you missed an 100% early win there in the match vs law. At 37:50 just put 6 don on your leader. Opponent has 3 cards so max 6k counter - he goes to 0. then you have 4 don left for dofi for an 14k attack that he could never ever counter out with 4 cards in hand :D Anyways, love the vid ❤
Thank you! I know I talk a lot , but I feel videos like this are how people can learn. I personally hate watching something when idk what’s going on and no one is explaining anything. It’s tough to teach new players or teach someone something when you forget the explanation part.
Man bird cage is such a cool card that completely warps the game I'm surprised more people dont play it. Also just so you know, Bon Clay couldn't attack on game 2 until you develop a character cause he only copies opp characters and not leaders

I also want to comment and say that my locals judge has said that because Diamanté and the leader effect our both “end of your turn” you get to decide which order they happen. So you can stand your Diamant at the end of your turn. You just have to re-stand your first.
Yeah. Birdcage ONLY looks at the refresh phase at the BEGINNING of the turn. Since the effect is EOT, so long as you allocate a Don and have two live he should be able to re-stand.
Yes! You choose which way to activate the effects. I know some people at locals do get confused on how it works. It’s difficult if you’re still learning , but you get used to it.
very nice deck, works super well against RP Law nad BY Luffy also moria and perona are good matchups. But Yellow is getting me every time. Took the Bullet version of this deck to Locals and no joke i fought 3 Enels in a Row and 1 Katakuri. Managed to rack up 1 win tho. Is there any tipp you can give me when going against Yellow ?
Yellow is a mixed bag, katakuri for example, you slap down bird cage on curve, find 7ckid, thats the ideal start up. Once that happens, I never swing for board, I just keep pressuring face. Usually by the time you get 8c kid or Doffy, and youre setup, its a lil easier to beat them.
What do you mulligan for each game? Guessing you want to go second for baby 5 searcher or do u wanna go first to get birdcage out quicker? I'm having a hard time getting the hang of this deck having gone from red zoro to black moria now to this
Im a fan of both of those decks, pluffy just got mr2, and BY ace ( doesnt have all support yet) but can still make some interesting lists! Hopefully you find a doffy variant you enjoy, goodluck!
Another Doffy video! Nice I’ve been wondering when you’d do another profile with the release of EB and off-white, great games the Ace game and the second Law deck were very intense matches. Is there anything in Op-07 that can help Doffy out at all I used my Doffy deck recently after taking a break from locals and got 3rd nobody was expecting a rogue Doffy. I run the 5 Cost Law that brings back sugar and puts her back at active and he’s a blocker as well instead of Kid since I can’t afford him 😂

only problem I have w/ law, is no counter, hes okay, Id much rather play Diamante. Counter + attker w/ cage. If youre using law in place of queen, you can do Law 4c blocker, or uta 4c, both counter and help extend cage.
@@PawsePlaysinteresting yeah I was testing it myself the counter does really matter, it was just nice to be abled to pop sugar get her back play her down again and get another character rested on a like 7 DON turn but that’s very situational
Took this to the treasure cup today, went 6-4 but started 5-0. Got to be on stream round 4 and unleaded the Bullet on a Law player. Fun deck just bricked in a couple of the losses but it happens

So honestly the cars that helps me beat enel is the 9c Zoro man figuring a way to fit it in would be amazing. But I honestly your right with saka still a thing the kid version no shine.
Going back and rewatching u had one slight misplay in the ace game U blocked with uta then used spider web to rest and the other losing the one when u could have just used spider web on bullet saved it, re stood the uta and had all 3 on stand by
eyyyy GP Doffy believers rejoice! i am running a similar list, but i dont go with uta and bullet. i run 7drop Kid-list. How do you see this deck doing in 07? just outclassed as a green deck by Bonney?
@@PawsePlays uhm yeah that was not what i was asking lol :) .. do you think this deck will have a place in 07 or will it be outclassed by bonney as the goto green deck. cause i think this Doffy deck is amazing
@@False-AT I answered your question, you just didn’t like the response. Bonney gets killed by removal, which is why she only now has a chance in the meta due to saka going away. Doffy will do just fine, Bonney isn’t the issue. And we get new purple card and green card options that make us better as well, so I don’t see a hard stuck issue for this deck. Like many other decks out there we to will have trouble with Enel in op07, not so much Bonney lol
watch previous doffy videos, yellow isnt an issue when you see curve. ANd secret zoro is rather irrelevant, the only deck you may see that in thats "meta" is uta, thats about it.
If u wanna avoid not getting bird cage u need to run the 5c searcher events(they are goated fr, free search off tigger) or the purple promo Yamato that just lets u re draw your entire hand
@@reezgaming1475 im not looking for zoro in doffy. Kid 8c, is nice, I have many deck variants w/ it in doffy, but their are much better ways to find it. lol
In the Ace fight at the end, why did you block with Uta? You used Spiderweb +4k so you could have defended the Bullet and then restood the Uta anyway? Uta died for no reason.
@@4DG4L hell yeah, friend! It’s an odd tech that MOST players ignore because you’re playing the 2k body which most people gloss over because you aren’t using it as counter power. And then when they forget and blank swing five and then you rest a Don and they can’t big mom or doffy you feels SO good
@@PawsePlays thank you. Yea I have a bunch of different cards that I’ve been building that I think work good. But you explain everything so well, as to why you choose the cards you do.
What do you mean how does that work? Sugars ability works regardless of her being rested or not. If she’s locked down by birdcage, for example, that doesn’t stop her ability.
@@PawsePlays I didn't know that. I for example know that her ability doesn't activate if your opponent kills her with a On Play KO. I thought that if she can not be rested (such as no longer being on the field or she is already rested) then the effect would fail.
@@HiddenForbidden2 Nah her effect will always go off, the only exception is if the opponent drops down an On K.O effect, Otherwise sugar just does her thing. Shes a very staple card in doffy, and other green decks also can utilize her. (In Yamato & kid) more so. Just not to the extent Doffy can.
