Chris had left no doubt in anyone 's mind about landing on his feet. He soars above! He is amazing! I, too appreciate you as well as thousands of others! Thank- you for everything you do with sharing your secrets! It's been life changing for many of us!!
It’s great you are trying to help her but if she is a co- worker it means she has a job . So how does she get to work , where does she live? Could she make space wherever that is. Maybe helping her get some few necessities would be better than trying to help her start an eBay business.
My ebay account was hacked and ebay fixed it but now is showing stuff I did not order. They don't know what happened so I closed the account after 16 years. NOT secure enough for me. I am using AMAZON until I get hacked there too. Not happy.
Do you mess with reselling part time? Im on disability and im a newbie reseller. Ive been following for years. Im hooked but physically i can only resell pt. But i need a extra income. Thank you for your info.
I started out slowly, part time, because of temporary disability. I had a growing interest in vintage jewelry so that was my niche. Lightweight and easy to ship was a priority for me. I've been full time for about 5 years, some months not as good as others thanks to covid and medical issues. But overall my returns match my efforts. And I stay in my niche.
@@00jyjsarang I'm in a similar situation where i can only do part-time. Can you let us know what your average profit is on a monthly basis and how many listings you create to get that? Thanks,
@@turntablesrockmyworld9315 My goal is to sell an item for 3 times what I paid, on average. So after fees and taxes that's doubling my money. I auction most items (controversial, I know) because I'm looking for pieces that are collectible and don't have exact matches on Ebay (or there are few). Right now my target is 3k/week gross or 12k/ month (not including shipping). I'd prefer to get there with as few listings as possible but around 100/week will usually do it. This year my goal is to sell all my backed up inventory and decide how to expand the business - or I might want to do something else entirely. Right now it's a 1- woman show. Except when my back/ neck flares up then I might be out of commission for a few days.
Thank you so much for your valuable information! I’m just starting my journey in reselling and have so much to learn. I appreciate your experience and knowledge.
I was listening to the last episode and was it Tech N Sports he says free returns? I sell hype sneakers and I have reached out to EBAY if I sell the correct size and passes it authentication.. If the customer sends it back to authentication and it is the same shoes I sent to them.. Then I would also accept free returns... I know my shoes are authentic because I get them from a reputable source. But if somebody sent me back some really good fakes, I would not be able to tell ( in most cases) Especially Jordan 1's...
Hey Chris, been watching you for almost a year now. I have a quick question. Is OA a viable business model for eBay? I only see people who do Amazon dabble in this and can never find information or anyone doing it in regards to eBay, so I’m a bit curious. Thanks for all you do for the community!
I wish people would stop saying you don't need money to start, i am in the process of helping a co- worker get started. She has nothing, listen i mean nothing. No printer, no lap top just her phone, no paper or labels, no bubble mailers or any shipping material, no place to store items, no vehicle, no real bank account, and no items to sell other then a jacket and a few pairs of jeans she doesn't wear. Lets be real your not going to uber around to source. So what is the trick around this if she doesn't need money.
You're a good person for helping her. It sounds like you know what to do. Yes, you have to be relatively stable to start on ebay. One option could be for you to network with other resellers in meetups to see if she could help them with anything. For pay of course. I've helped a lot of people in my life. I'm sorry it's frustrating for you right now. I understand the venting. People like you helped me years ago when I needed it. I wish you all the best.
It's great that you're helping a friend get started. No transportation is tough. I would suggest that she not worry about the printer, labels, and paper until she's selling multiple things per day. I started out handwriting my labels & still do 80% of the time. Now I'm also using the QR code from my phone that gets scanned at the post office & they print the label. I get boxes from retail stores when possible. Hopefully your friend will find a way to source some items or get some donations to get started.
Sounds like your friend lacks the motivation for life in general. In that case it’s a lost cause. Still plenty of ways to start with what little she has, but I’m sure if I explained, you would find more excuses for her and my advice would fall on deaf ears.
Random question Chris. Is there some way of knowing who the top sellers are in a particular category in Ebay? Some kind of 'sort by number sold?' Or top seller [category].?
Yes you said it I’ve been reselling for 7 years & people find out what I’m doing and all they see is the sells & think they can do it I’ve only had 2 friend that followed threw and made a posh closet & she gave up in less than 2 months lol I always tell them it’s allot more than what you see
I wondered the same thing. Even with eBay, it seems impossible. I hate selling used clothing. Too many items have small flaws. I take measurements. Way too time-consuming. Hard to photograph too.
@@logicalblueberry I think the vast majority of these RU-vidrs exaggerate a huge deal. I like Chris for sure, but you know. If he was netting even 10% of $40k a week ($4k profit every 7 days), that's $16k a month. That's almost NETTING $200k a year, and that's IF he's only netting 10%. If he or anyone else was making that kind of money consistently, do you really think they'd worry about making RU-vid videos ? So I'll just say it. I actually don't believe those numbers. I'd have to see it to believe it. Plus they have the time to upload multiple videos a day sometimes ? Come on with that. Nonsense.
@@myst93 you would be shocked to know how much You Tubers make, specifically in the money niche, there's a lot ways money comes thru You Tube it's an HUGE income
@@logicalblueberry it's Not for Everyone! Chris and many others, like myself- have a passion and making it work for us! Hard work and staying off u- tube for 99. 999% of my time helps me!
this click bait ass title, if anyone can get rich on ebay but 99 percent aren't, then guess what? No one is getting rich off Ebay. says the guy with no Ebay
Actually a lot of people are getting rich off of eBay. Your “99 percent” is probably people that do this as a hobby and aren’t putting all their effort into it and getting better. Or they are bad at sourcing and keeping their costs of good low or maybe they are just keeping their items sitting too long being greedy and trying to get all of the money.
Chris can you please help me. my selling limit is just 5 list can you help me how can i increase them i am a new sellar on ebay and i wanted to increase sellar limit, the ebay just text me that i need selling history. i can't understand what should i do my ebay account is a business account still they said that
Exactly what they told you. You need to prove to ebay that you are a seller buyers can trust. Ship within your handling time and describe your items accurately.
