During the summer we visited beautiful Djursland and the iconic city Ebeltoft. We explored one of the longest wooden warships in the world: Fregatten Jylland. We saw the old townhall where over 300 weddings are held every year, had Danish candy made the old-fashion-way, rode a train, and just wondered around in the iconic city with the cobblestones, and colored houses. Spoiler alert: It was an amazing trip. Watch here if you want to see how it went 🙂

Danmark har så meget at byde på, og jeg er personligt meget glad djursland og har været der mange gange. I den her Djursland Serie besøger vi; Mols Bjerge, Ebeltoft smukke by, Fregatten Jylland, jernbane museum og bor på den lækre Ebeltoft Strand Camping lige i vandkanten og cykelafstand til Ebeltoft. Never knew Denmark was in a war with Germany in the 1860s, or that Denmark has the oldest continuous monarchy in the world, or the longest wooden ship, or... Thank you! 😄❤️ I'm learning so much!

ha ha, that's awesome:) We also don't have a national Day, because the part of Denmark that's left has never been ruled by an other country for a longer period, so we were never "free'd" from an oppressor(except from a small part down by Germany and second world war) so never found the use for celebrating an independence day or any other national day:) have a great weekend:)

Fantastic video. You really created a very professional travel video with this one. Max is growing up and you must be enjoying him at this age. Since I live in such a "young" country I cannot imagine what it feels like to be able to trace your history back to the 1500s. Thank you for sharing.

Let’s pretend you didn’t get seasick how would you prefer to travel by land or sea (not to forget by air, but not many people own their own private jet). I mean would you prefer to travel by sea in a sailboat that would accommodate Morten, Max yourself and maybe a couple of other family or friends with a small kitchenette and toilet or would you prefer to travel by land in your car towing a caravan or as they call it in North America travel trailer behind? I prefer to travel in a car and towing a caravan/travel trailer behind. First of all I LOVE to drive and I think there’s more to see when driving for hours like beautiful mountain, forest scenery depending on where you are of course. And it’s more easy to stop and take a rest or go seeing some funny and interesting things like museum like Fregatten Jylland. Also I think it’s easier to get around when you have a car and can place your caravan/travel trailer at some fixed place. I mean when you dock your sailboat at some harbor, you are kind of limited by not having some kind of transportation other than maybe some bicycles or scooters. Also I imagine it can be boring to see the same wide open sea for hours, not that it can’t be beautiful, but at least land scenery changes and don’t stay the same for hours (usually). Of course by sailboat you have a different kind of freedom than by car and not limited by water and can travel from one part of the world to another. BTW good to see your videos again:-) you haven’t really done your weekly uploads the past month or so. Or maybe I just imagine that?

I’m totally with you, I prefere car where I have the freesom to stop, I feel boat would limit me to the coastline, but I’m sure it’s a beautiful way to travel😊 I like the flexebility to stop😀 I’ve missed a week here and there but trying to keep uploads consistent to every week, doesn’t always succede😆🙄
