Imagine if Nigeria truly is for Nigerians- adavanced multiculturalism! After rocking Osita Osadebe in Enugu, I will enter Ibadan and rock Ebenezer Obey! Good music knows no tribe!. Yoruba juju music rocks!
Today being 1st of March 2024. The music relaxes my muscles & it takes away depressive mood. Still as fresh in my memory when Obey released it in d 70's. True music is a powerful tool. The lyrics can b enjoyed by everyone be you Igbo, Hausa, efik, urobo etc. Same like Osita osadebey music & others like Sunny Okosun. Longlive all our musicians
I think juju music is a movement as reggae! Sadly in our days it doesn’t shine as then - dem say that black people fulfilled them log and now live in peace! Hope we listen new age juju music again. Blessings
One of my very best of Commander Obey. Part of the 70 collections. The arrangement was exellent, complimented by the talk drum. And of course the super unique voice. Faultless album, God bless you Chief Obey.
I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE ANY LINK WITH EBENEZER OBEY SONGS PRIOR TO THIS WORLD, I CAN'T LISTEN TO HIS SONGS WITHOUT TEARS FLOWING DOWN MY CHEEKS, I CAN'T HELP IT WHEN LISTENING TO HIS SONGS, I DON'T EVEN ENJOY ANY SONG IN THIS WORLD THAT MUCH EXCEPT THOSE SANG BY CHEIF COMMANDER. PLEASE IS THIS IS HAPPENING TO ME ALONE?. DO I HAVE OTHER PEOPLE IN THIS CATEGORY??????😉😉😉😉😉😉
