It's well worth $1,300. That's a steal for the quality that Eberhard & Co watches deliver. I own a few vintage pieces and a Champion V Grand Date The Quality of these watches has never let me down. Cheers!
I have this watch. I love it! You are absolutely right, you cannot appreciate this watch until you see it. I love its simplicity which is art in itself. To me, it matters not whether it is high profile. I love it and that is all that is relevant. Great review.
I have the white dial. I saw one years ago in Europe and wanted it. Lucky for me I found one for sale used in Texas and has been a great addition to my watch rotation.
I own 4 Eberhard&co watches. You can buy them new aftermarket for low prices. Alot of the watches have modified movements so are considered by Swiss authorities as "in house". 1 champion v big date chronograph, 1 Nuvolari solo tempo (#?of 999) 1 Nuvolari grand prix (#? of 999) and a Nuvolari Vanderbilt cup limited edition (#? of 99) excellent watche of the highest quality.
I have a Traversetolo "panda" chronograph. It's amazing. I suggest you look it up. The company has made so many innovations in the Chronograph world. Check out the vintage Extra Fort pieces.
I understand that - read through their entire history before making this video. None of that is relevant to the watch I reviewed though. I can't justify the price of this particular piece based on OTHER innovations they've put out.
