Glad i've got one of these in my truck. Mine will run all night but it will turn itself off if the battery gets low. Although thats the same with anything on the lorry. It allways leaves enough juce in the battery to start. It also takes mine a few seconds to get going or change temp. Also a must if you use one is the Carbon Monoxide alarm.
@@CriftinsCampers Yes everything is 24 volt on the lorry. The fridge on the trailer is 12 volts though. I've got two control pannals on mine. I can switch it on from the climat control on the dash. And there is another control pannel unit on the back of the cab with a timer. I can reach that one from my bunk.
Got a question if you don’t mind m8 Iv got the 801 and it turns off after an hour I thought they stayed on all night or an till you turned them off. I’m converting my van into a camper. I no the Chinese ones stays on all night I thought I’d splash out and get a decent one. To be honest I thought set it at 18 when it ramps up to 18 it will just tick over and maintain the temperature all night. I’m really gutted splashing out now. Any advice ?
check the part number I suspect you have the "801 10 001" version, if so then this is set to 1 hour runtime by default however some later models can be adjusted as described in the manual linked below. Otherwise see if you can send it back to exchange for the "801 10 003" instead. www.butlertechnik.com/downloads/Eberspacher_80110003_controller_Installation_instruction_manual.pdf
I live in north Shropshire, I suggest you contact Kirknalls, they do mobile diagnostics and repairs plus their part prices seem reasonable. kirknalls.co.uk/
