If you are an older verticality challenged female, 50 pounds + 115 pounds of rider = 165 pounds not bad at all. Thank you for reviewing this bike because I rode every e bike I could find locally and this was hands down my favorite, because it behaves like a bicycle not a motorcycle. I have an M endorsement and have nothing against a motorcycles. I was just looking for a replacement for my old Swinn Mountain bike that could also get me back to my camper van after a full day of hiking a trail. Being over 60, the mountain bike really needs to be someone else's problem. The problem with the mountain bike is I forget i am not an indestructible teenager anymore... I seem to be from a long living gene pool so I am thinking ahead and at say 90, I may actually be happy to have this e bike. It is encouraging that you use these in your rental fleet. Thank you for posting your review on RU-vid. PS Detroit is on my bucket list for must see and explore urban areas.

Hi there. Former Detroiter here (I lived at Agnes and McClellan) - I now live in Oregon. Just lost an Allant+ 7S to theft and, at the recommendation of the local Trek dealership, I will be getting a Verve+ 4. So, I am trying to research what I am getting myself into.
