Honestly my stuff is pretty simple. I guess it does have semi planned out thoughts or concepts that feel good and I build off. That takes time to pick out of your work. Honestly, I think we all do amazing things even at the start. That hard part is picking out what is working and expanding on it and looking further ahead of what’s in front of you at the moment. I’m starting to share tutorials again and will jump into workflow videos.
Nice work. Question, using the synths without presets, do you usually keep them always at the same patch or do you change them up between tunes? I have a lot of the same synths and want to use all their features but it's hard changing them up frequently.
I tend to keep them around the same sound concept for the project. I might change a few small aspects but try to keep it in the same “lane” for the project. It allows me to use the piece and recall it for my tracks if I want to update a mix album or maybe play a set with that project. Kinda makes the process more simple too.
