Casey Francis In England (not Scotland), Public School means one of the old Independent Schools (Eton, Harrow etc.) while State school means a maintained school (maintained by the Government).

Other ethical vegans don’t view the situations as equal but not necessarily much better. Depending on your cultural background, it might help to think of it how you might feel if tricked into eating a monkey, a dog (someone’s former pet) from a shelter, or roadkill. It’s not the same as being tricked into cannibalism but it’d still likely disturb and gross you out.
