Eccles Sonata- Mov 1 and 2

3:38 the second movement begins

I have a copy "transposed" for violin and piano.... truly awful. The viola or even perhaps extending out to the cello it what makes this piece magical :) Wonderful performance here !

The tags show Zukerman and Perlman yet they don't make an appearance....uh why?

Funnily enough all of the versions I've seen that have the piano intro section are viola. The cello, violin, and saxophone arrangements don't have this bit. I wonder if this is the work of an arranger.

After viewing this I have discovered that my performance of the second movement is truly mediocre at best.😂
