Thanks for this informative and helpful video. I was planning to spend much of my day disassembling and cleaning the carb on my Echo trimmer once again, but just discovered that complete drop-in replacements are available at very reasonable prices. I have a kit on order and look forward to what should be a plug-and-play operation. You provided several good tips, such as the correct positioning of the fuel and return lines. I've seen other videos that depict a T25 driver bit being used on those big screws, and it's obviously loose. I'm almost sure that mine requires a T27 as shown here. I think I'll start my job with a 10 mm wrench in hand rather than chasing one down later. 😀

I used this video to replace the carb, and another of your videos to replace the coil after the carb replacement didn't fix the problem. AMAZING videos. Details like, if your fuel filter is foaming, you have the lines reversed are super!! Also in the coil replacement video, using a business card as the spacer, and details like "front bolt is fine thread, rear bolt i coarse" means a lot to a guy who has never done a repair like this! Mine starts and runs now and I spent about 40 bucks on parts. THANK YOU!!
