They might be interesting, maybe giving a little prisoner of hope, but that is all. e.g., people are willing to spend more time on seminars and reading books about losing weight than they are willing to do the job, and what it requires. to lose weight.

Still, they can assist if they resonate and allow for new ideas, thinking, introspection etc., there is also a benefit, but everything has to be personalized and nuanced. So it's interesting that you commented the way you did given that it has been so helpful to me as part of a whole system of support tools available to me - my personal experience (which isn't everyone's) is not hopeful but insightful. With that said, I hope you find the personalized support you need for whatever you seek or would like to understand and learn. Take care.

You know you’re going to wait at the airport. I get excited with that expectation and I have a pretty bad back but I grab myself a wheelchair. I grab my iPad and I enjoy my experience. I wasn’t born with this knowledge it was taught to be by many many people over years of reading, including this wonderful man, I am not the person I wars for the first 25 years of my life. Originally I had it had to be pointed out to me, but once it was high, absolutely love having this knowledge I hope I can encourage others with what I’ve said, I am 71 years old, still reading my spiritual books following people within Dee’s meditating and loving. I do have one major challenge. People hurt me very very much and it cost me a tremendous amount of my life still working on that one. Thanks for reading through this much love.

I always carry my kindle in my purse so whenever I’m waiting in a line I just turn it on and engross myself in the book I’m reading. Two things happen. I am doing something I love and the wait in line goes by without any anxiety.

I agree, and I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter not to death, but to cruel and unwarranted separation. My ex-husband kidnapped my youngest child from me to get the upper hand in divorce in 2009 when they were 9 years old. I've never been the same. This killed me from the inside out, I missed my baby so much. He had residential custody for 9 years and moved to another city. My child turned 18 shortly before graduating from high school. They packed and left the very next day following graduation, broken, not having had a childhood beyond the tender age of 8, to me and their sister. I will never forgive myself for losing them, in so many ways. They came back a different person, to an entirely different and broken mom. We are closer now, but we both changed so much from the heartbreak we all (including my older child) indured from being separated from one another. We were like 3 Peas in a pod before, now we're more like 3 Peas from the same pod. I understand...and I agree.

Can you explain how it was?

It's incredible when we have experiences like that! Do you meditate regularly? When I started truly meditating pretty much every day, and not just a few minutes, but getting into deep meditations, that's when I started having incredible experiences. The interesting thing is that at that point I didn't even know that people were having experiences like that so I certainly wasn't chasing it. I was agnostic at the time and in a way I still am as in I don't pretend to know what God or Source truly is, but my experiences have taught me that there's definitely much more than just this material world we live in. That's something that my logical, skeptical, scientific brain just can't deny now. So when I started this I just wanted to feel better--to minimize stress--I wasn't searching for more. I do a variety of types of meditations now, including just silencing my mind and focusing on my breath, but if you're interested in some deep guided meditations that, for me at least, really helped open me up to these experiences and connection with something that I can't even begin to describe (love like nothing else.....peace like nothing else...), check out Brian Scott's meditations on RU-vid. He has many and I have a decent amount of favorites, but one I especially love is "Contacting Intelligent Infinity" (I think that's what it's called🤔). Joe Dispenza's meditations can do this too. Both Joe and Brian incorporate breathwork and visualizations into these types of meditations as well as music that often has binaural beats in it and I find that all of that together is incredibly powerful. I put on headphones and use a sleep mask to block everything out so I can completely focus. Sorry for the long comment😬 Just sharing what's been life-changing for me I'm case you're interested.💫🤗

Those deep experiences are called the out of body experiences. In some spiritual traditions , they refer them as satori or samadhi moments. You experience this deep sense of inner peace, bliss or joy. It’s not an emotional experience of good, this is the experience beyond explanation. You feel one with everything around you. ❤

Check out RU-vidr Aaron Abke he went through the same experiencing listening to Eckhart. He had two weeks of enlightenment but fell back, he ended up making that his permanent state and teaches about how. I highly recommend his channel it will probably help you a lot since you’ve had the same experience as him.

He lives his philosophy on the loving presence of nature as I have seen him walking in the UBC endowment lands/Pacific Spirit Park, while I was also walking....a very nourishing forest surrounding UBC.
