That’s because he has no ego. That is such an endearing quality in a person. The only other person I could say that about is maybe Thich Nhat Hanh. Such beautiful human beings
Except Nothing Stands Still. For Some of Us the Circles of Human Behaviour Adjust. Also Eckhart, from what I have seen of Him, uses Ego in the Negative sense.
He's my fave comedian ... so funny he has a clear take on things and has the ability to mimic our monkeymind perfectly and show it to us, and we recognize it immediately because there is only one mind and we all share it.
There's nothing better than driving through town listening to this when all of a sudden I'm at a red light laughing out loud!!! The neighboring drivers get a laugh watching me laugh🤣 Love and thanks to Eckert and the producer of this video💕
My daughter and I were just talking about how funny Eckhart is, and we love it. He's right, and it's a great way to convey the absurdities and contradictions of life.
Oh this was..... Fantastic. High humor, spiritual humor. Ah, that God would make us laugh all day. I would take that. Present Joyous. Great compilation of Eckhart humor.
I fell off the settee laughing at the story of the old lady in church who had no enemies. Priceless humour. Thank you for sharing this wonderful compilation.
He is absolutely delightful the way the joy just bubbles up and then he lets it flow out. It's a good reminder that we should not take ourselves too seriously or use humor as a weapon against things we don't agree with.
That happens to me when I meditate- “now I’m sitting zen!” And then the strangest thing happens. I forget how to breathe calmly. Now I’m more tense than before! So I simply stopped doing it. Every moment is meditation. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you Eckhart Tolle! 🙏❤️😆
Thank you for editing the funny parts together!🙏🤗 Ecky is such a wonderful master of spirituality and deep wisdom garnished with so much humor! Fantastic!!
Who has understood Jesus....... maybe one or two Buddhists✌✌I love Eckart's punchlines - they resound in truth. ie the old woman in church said I have no enemies I've outlived all the bitches! Hallelujah 🙌
thanks for your effort doing this compilation! 🙏 it‘s wonderful! minute 10 when he says „this relationship has no future... because there is none...“ 😂 i love him! ❤️
It's a wonderful collection of funny moments. Eckhart's humor enhances his message. Hope more and more people get the opportunity to listen to him or other great spiritual teachers and become enlightened. I have been working on it for the past two years and what I feel is indescribable. Love your comments, and God blrsd!
Oh thank you so much. That's what I value about Eckharts approach so much - he makes lite of human foolishness, when the ego tries to take everything so seriously. Although I've seen all of those talks, it's really funny seeing them all compiled together. I really appreciated it.
Today started out emotional. Thinking about my dad and his sacrifice for our country. I must say, this compilation had me laughing out loud and changed my entire mood. I am grateful for the present moment, for laughter and for love 💘.
Like all good stand-up comedians, he has timing down perfectly. The success of good comedy is the moments between the funny comments; pauses, stillness, wait for it...the punchline.
Thank you for that post. I laughed a lot, and a strange synchronicity occurred during the part when he was talking about the wife snoring. At the exact moment he uttered the words “the cat is awake” my cat came barging into my bedroom meowing up a storm. It was a cool moment.
And that is the living presence beyond the words, the actual teaching. Synchronity happens because actually existence is one when the ego is not present.
To get a real belly laugh at this time in my life was a surprise and a gift! Thanks, of course to Mr. Eckhart Tolle, and especially to his "spiritual comedy" team. I see your getting going and this was so good, I'll subscribe. I hope you'll keep up the good work, and look forward to your next one. Namaste.
The guy laughing in the audience at the end laughed like that all the way through the original presentation. I was wondering if anyone else spotted that, and you did.☺
One of my favourites was when he was talking about the missing bells and he said something like, 'my friend gave me those bells and he got them from the Dalai Lama.'
