I think you guys just described the song "A Total Eclipse Of The Heart." This sense of awe people experience during the eclipse is very strong but the reality is we have it on tap everyday in different ways. I would compare the feeling to being alive.

Yes, the feeling of awe is inside us. We SEE nature in its majesty, but FEEL awe inside of us. Therefore, we have access to that feeling anytime we want.

In the dream, I couldn't help but be struck not only by the Fight Club imagery, but also by memories of the video game Mortal Combat and the Dojo Master's command to "FINISH HIM !!!" The initial "sportsman-like" concern for the opponent could be conflict avoidance or a resistance to a barely controlled ruthlessness the dreamer knows is dangerous- it's a blurry line. Thanks Deb and Joseph , this one's a keeper, full of small points of reference that loom large for me, I'll be returning to it often I think- the only thing that partially eclipsed its impact was the absence of Lisa's input, so maybe when she returns from the shadowlands a revisit of the subject would be in order, so she can add her tales of her "Sol Negra" experience for additional illumination. 🌒🌑🌘

I looked it up, and to my astonishment in many cultures, even hinduism, the solar eclipse is a bad omen. Makes me wonder whether the effect is related to the spiritual context within a certain culture.
