Add to that the 1320performance catless downpipe, CVF race cooler, the intake tube via Airraid, Turbosmart DV, and some SR charge pipes. Garnish with an excellent tune from Unleashed.
Sounded awful on the first start after install but mellowed out some. Not a fan of it under WOT but it will be a lot better for the daily commute I think.
Before you ask, the drone at 65 in sixth is pretty much nonexistent. This whole system is quieter than the stock downpipe coupled with a Magnaflow street system. Like a tesla on cruise. It doesn't let itself be known until you drop the hammer.

Full chat to and fro.

I dunno why people dont like these Ecoboost sounds.. I like the sound!! especially with the MBRP.

I'm a little in the dark about it too. Maybe it's just a generational thing. The olds aren't hip to four pots. It's aggressive and pleasant. MBRP did a good job.

No trouble. I couldn't find any quality ones so decided to spend the few bucks to put it out there. Everyone buys the Race variant instead. A week or two in, can endorse the Street. It's mellowed everywhere but cold starts and full tilt.

The sound is growing on me. Dearborn space magic. A few heat cycles later and even the cold starts don't suck anymore! And I agree. The Raxiom lamps really don't suck. A year in they are still pretty crispy and are not scratched up. 🍁

PlzNoTickets For me I’m considering either this or the borla atak axlebacks. I was initially all for MBRP, but I did a little research and I’m starting to like the Borla’s. Yeah I was also going to get those tails as well, but I always wanted Euros so I just stuck with it.

The clear three bar euros are pretty swell, and a nice decision to make. With respect to Borla, you do pay a premium, but the quality is there. MBRP feels a bit like a house brand. Great Value or President's Choice, but an exhaust. It was still an upgrade for me. The previous owner boogered a Magnaflow race axle-back in, but used all sorts of different pipe and techniques to make it into a catback, including cutting a few inches off of the outlet and welding in what lookes like fencepole. It was rough.

PlzNoTickets For sure! No regrets here! Yeahhh, MBRP just doesn’t have the same tone as the Borla’s. To me anyways lol. I’ve found a local shop in Toronto that’s selling the Borla Atak axleback for $1080, so I was thinking of getting it from them soon. Jesus, that sounds rough lol. Previous owner seems to be a blacksmith of some sort hahaha. More-so a Victor Frankenstein lol.

Might as well grind them a bit. It's not like the economy is doing so hot rn. I found the MBRP for 600 or so from the local hot rod shop and installed myself at home. I think the previous owner had an inept boyfriend who wanted to play mechanical hero or something. Maybe she tossed his ass when she looked under the car 😂

I will say that it's really mellowed as I have put miles on it since the install last year. Its super tolerable even catless, and zero drone at any cruising speed. Cheap and cheerful.

@@plznotickets Nice review, I’m seriously considering this system because of your review. I’m impressed with it because you said it has no drone, that’s exactly what I’m looking for. I’m also considering the Magnaflow system, but it’s considerably more expensive.

Glad could help 😁. Assuming you keep a catalyst in the car it will be a little more mellow than seen here too. Cold starts will have less starch in them too. I may have mentioned it in the vid, but this did replace a magnaflow system, race I think, that was intolerable even with the stock downpipe.
