My electrician had issues setting up my Smartpanel and it turned out several of the relays that were shipped with the unit were bad. While I am now happy with the Smart panel function, I’m very disappointed with Ecoflow. Less than a year after installing my Smartpanel and Delta Pros, a new Smartpanel and Delta Pros were introduced and this is zero interoperability between the old and new products. I’d have to scrap everything I already bought if I want to use either the new smartpanel or new Delta Pros. I’m not understanding why Ecoflow didn’t design a hardware adapter and software to allow at least some compatibility between products. Very, very disappointed.
How much money have you found to be saving charging off peak - for the circuit naming - I fully power cycled my panel and tried again and it held the names
I'm still tweaking how I use it. We saw about 10-20% savings initially. Last month I tried to not charge off peak, but just from solar panels alone. The savings was closer to 30%. As the sun hours increase as summer approaches, I hope to see more savings as I am now beginning to run off the batteries during the off peak times as well.
The smart panel is ok but the cheap high frequency, short lived, low surge capacity, transformerless inverter technology that the ecoflow delta pro uses is inferior to heavy duty, long lived, high surge capacity, low frequency, transformer based inverter technology. Plus, the ecoflow delta pro is priced much, much higher than superior low frequency inverter tech. You would have been far better off installing a large hybrid, low frequency, transformer based inverter charger and a bank of LiFePo4 batteries.
