This is great. I hope they come out with a setup that is more urban-friendly in the future (little more flex/flexible battery). Those integrated lights are perfect to getting seen on the street. The only thing I think it would need would be fenders in case you're forced to go through puddles or get stuck in the rain. I would imagine it would be nice to have on trails too so that mud doesn't get kicked up. I know that's not what this board is intended for though so in regards to this board specifically it's great!

Hey, just wondering if U would recommend the ecomoblet M3 for someone on a budget. Is the M3 a good board or should I go for something else???
@mikemenard4543
@mikemenard4543 3 года назад
The M3 is the oldest and cheapest board within the Ecomobl lineup at $399 but competes against the Lycaon GR & Backfire G2 at that price point. The Lycaon has the most watt hours of those 3. The G2 has been around the longest. The M3 has the integrated light kit. Check out the climbing grades of each and consider your surroundings. The best Ecomobl boards are the ET, M20 and M24 overall.

Does anyone know how to replace the motor/wheel? My friend has this same board and after 10 hours the one wheel seized and the company sent him a new motor but he has no idea how to replace it. Also the bindings he can't figure out how to get installed. Do we take the board apart and drill through the wood? Please help 🙏 😢

@@davezoom-yb8pm ecomobl actually sent him a new motor for his board, once he installed it it's been working great. The ET1 might be Downgraded from 50 Amps to 35 Amps.And it might have 10 cells not 12 cells....The ET2 has the latest upgrades.I got the ET1 with the lastest upgrades,power mode esc,12cells,40T,768whp....then Ecomobl brought everything over to the ET2.someone did a review on the 35 amps and the 50 amps models of the ET1...He send back the 35 Amps and was not smiling and when he got the 50 amps he was smiling and cheerful and very happy.I like the ET1 wheels because no Flat tires and one day I got a 3 inch screw shoved up inside the back wheel and I spend the next 15 minutes trying to get it out and then went to 7-11 and then they said we have no tools until I showed them the skateboard with a screw sticking out and i just needed pliers to get home so one lady went to her car and got pliers and we got it out and she wanted to keep the screw!...lol..I then squeeze some crazy glue inside the crack that I really couldn't see that much where the nail was and then got 100 miles since then no problems.I got 550 miles with nothing but one little screw loose that it took 1/4 turn to get it tight.I'm in Vegas that I rode on a 116 degree day and the board did it no problems at all.Oh,I did replace the front bearings at 250 miles because of a vibration that better quality bearings are better.

Looks like community feedback is taken into account there The 50e pack is stupid. 10amp continous in a 3p config means the cells are stressed the entire time. Hell there are cells that have 80% of the capacity while offering 300% discharge compared to the 50e. The 50e pack could not even deliver the max allowed amps to the performance esc. Never mind reaching the 2000 watt one of their motors could take,. The sometimes ridiculous claims in the EV sector (be that electric boards or cars) show how easy it is to fool most consumers.
@mikemenard4543
@mikemenard4543 3 года назад
There’s a 40T cell version arriving soon though. Specifically for the power version and all of the things you mentioned that the review covers. It depends on draw in the end for each rider. If you ride pretty chill the range ESC and 50E are probably okay for quite a while. If you are pro mode max speed up hills, etc or want the power esc then the 40T cells are a must IMO.
@langcheng5443
@langcheng5443 3 года назад
Fabi's ONSRA board also presents the same series connection issue, using low discharge cells with a lower parallel arrangement, which spells eventual battery disaster. Plenty of idiot companies doing anything to advertise that 12s configuration.
@mikemenard4543
@mikemenard4543 3 года назад
Lang Cheng Onsra continuous discharge cells are lower than the 50Es but regardless the 40T cells are coming to the ET soon for those who ride hard.
@langcheng5443
@langcheng5443 3 года назад
@@mikemenard4543 ehh, ESC's still the source for bottleneck. Idk how far Lingyi has come in terms of power delivery and how much current it can handle for the 40Ts to be used with respect, but VESCs, even cheap ones, still present a stark contrast. With power comes cost.
@mikemenard4543
@mikemenard4543 3 года назад
Lang Cheng The 40T teaming up with the custom power ESC is what excites me most. That esc has 50A continuous discharge. Also will reduce battery sag and extend the life of the pack since it won’t be working as hard to deliver what the board wants. Agreed on VESC. Won’t be surprised if an owner mods it. The interesting thing I like that Ecomobl does is make the new updates that can be backward compatible available to buy in the accessories store for earlier adopters. I have a power esc in my house I will install this winter for example alongside a 40T assembly but but for now the range and 50Es worked well for my use. I’ll update both at once later when I can’t ride.

The treads are actually surprisingly adaptable on gravel and dirt IMO. Not as good knobbys obviously but better than some pneumatic AT tires that are a bit better suited to the street. ET has more range and way more top speed,lol. (35mph as compared to the wowgo's 25mph) These are hybrid boards, if you want to compare true AT boards that would be the M24.
