I hated econometrics in my first semester because I didn't have a background neither in economics, statistics, or maths..And the professor wouldn't teach from a basic level because it's a master's program and they expect you to know everything.I had a hard time understanding the concepts and I found you. I cant express how thankful I am for your videos.

I mean lickert scale data set with a simple model having let say 5 independent and 1 dependent variable. Sir, in Pearson correlation 3 independent variables have positive correlation with dependent variable (insignificant). But in regression standardized coefficient beta, these independent variables are negative. In research project, which values will be used for conclusion. Kindly reply soon ❤️

Dear sir, Correlation is the general concept with the help of correlation we can not measure the relationship and it cannot be compared with Covariance.However, Coefficient of correlation is a tool which can measure the relationship and we can say correlation coefficient is the standardized form of Covariance..Not just the correlation..if we some one ask what is the difference between correlation and coefficient of correlation then what will be the answer..
