Yessir! The smart LIDAR navigation, cornrow cleaning lines, object avoidance preventing tangles, and that auto-empty bin... the tech has come a far way in just a few years!
Nice, it's been a few months. Any issues or complaints? What about the mop, can you put like vinegar or something to clean/disinfect the floor when mopping?
Why the manufacturer would force me to register an account to use its vacume cleaner! This is outrageous! The manufacturer would get very sensitive private information about me, such as size and layout of the house, family routines and even whether anybody is at home! Those auto cleaners have Lidar or other sensors. I can accept that a mobile app is required to control the cleaner but it should work perfectly ok without any user identity information or sending any data to some unkown servers.
Can one of you RU-vidrs someone please acknowledge the fact that there is a Deebot T9 and T9+ out there that has better mopping, better suction, a larger battery, plus an air freshener feature. For some reason, the T9 and T9+ are not available in the states!! WHY??
I wasn't going to purchase the auto empty station. You made a good point about manually emptying, and the gross dust cloud-DUH! I'll have the auto empty station this time! Thanks for that!
My reason for keeping this item was the fear that the Roborock s7 would scratch my hardwood floors. The N8+ does something’s well, but it’s a bit glitchy, it will get caught in my bar stool, sensors need to be cleaned often. The dustbin does work well, but the compartment needs to be cleaned out every few runs. The battery is weak in my opinion . Mopping is average. It’s ok
I've just ordered the n8+ here in the UK, a little disappointed since I would have wanted the pro+ version had it been available :/ but alas it was amazon prime day and I felt like it was a decent deal. Still got two days for the delivery though so if I get cold feet I guess I can still cancel. FYI this is my first robot vacuum and don't know what to expect :p
After watching your and a couple more revievs i have at last chosen deebot n8+. Its realy solid, navigation works veeery well, auto empty doc is a real game changer. Thx for very good reviev!
Q: Will the deebot travel over carpet if it has the mop attachment on? My hallway is carpeted and it would need to travel over carpet to get to tiled rooms
If I'm correct, the answer is no. The roborock s7 is better in this, because it raises its mop while passing over carpets. PS: I recommend this video "MOST Robotic Mops are BAD, These Aren't."
I recently bought an N8pro + works well, but when I wanted to clean the brush I discovered that it had not emptied its bin at all and I had to do it manually. Happened every time. It seems that the trap doors of the robot’s bin are too stiff and open with difficulty any suggestions??
I work on these but don't own one, I'd love to get in contact with you to talk about ral world day-day use in terms of how user expectations vs reality play into repairs.
I bought the N8Pro after watching this video. I’m not sure why it worked for him and not for me, but it gobbled up all the cables and wires it could, and I’m not taking about cables lying in the middle, they were alongside the baseboard or in a corner. This vacuum is a huge let down. Buy it if you are willing to babysit it and keep monitoring it for when it will get stuck. It also never followed the sequence like shown here, it runs to random places, or keeps cleaning one spot repeatedly ignoring the others.
Were you not able to set up “no-go” zones? I’m really interested in a vacuum that I can tell where NOT to go, but I’m not sure which one is best for this feature.
I have a couple of questions. I have a Dyson small ball and love it. I'm looking at ways to make mum life a little easer. Looking at the n8 pro. First question, do you know if the suction is up there with the Dyson? I understand it's a smaller unit but suction wise, what's it like? Second question, is there a way to put my floor plan into the app and the vac goes off that or does the vac have to go around the house first? :)
I have the N8 Pro+ and it’s great. But the emptying feature sucks. The two little ports are nearly big enough to actually suck the dust and hair out of the robot.
i love your video, i want to know more about your videos, because i want to get some ideas on how to workout in youtube, yes i am new in youtube, that's the reason why i want to watch different videos, to get some ideas and ofcourse to learn something, again thanks for sharing this video, and I'm here sending my full support God bless you
