Good review guys, thanks. I recommend putting comparisons with other flagship brand models (Not just between Ecovacs models). Good luck with your channel.
Hello, nice videos. How does the n8 pro compare to the newer t9 in terms of navigation and obstacle avoidance? I also noticed that the t9 reverses or slows down the side /main brush when it gets tangled, does the n8 pro do the same ?
Someone is going to write up a full comparison on our website this week, but at a very high level: There are differences in the vacuuming, navigation and obstacle avoidance, with the T9 being slightly better, however it is SLIGHT. For most people, you should decide on whether you want an oscillating mop, 110min battery life vs 175 min, and what is better value for money in your local area. The oscillating mop does make a huge difference, so it depends on how important the mopping capability is for you :)
Hi there :) We've posted an article that answers this question! robomate.co.nz/when-the-best-keeps-getting-better-the-deebot-n8-pro-and-the-t9-whats-the-difference/
@@RobomateTV Hi Thanks, yep that's what I got $600 AUD (not with the auto empty bin) But I find it really hard to remove the mopping pad. can it work without the water holder installed?
@@azzurripro That's a good deal - you can also decide later if you want the auto-empty bin! If you use the main vacuuming attachment (without the water tank) it will work - but only vacuum. You need the mop attachment to use the mopping feature - hope that answers your question/is what you meant!
It resets the map several times and numerous times cant even dock properly and ends up not emptying out at all. If it gets stuck you need to help it and if you press start or continue it says new area detected and looses the map really not worh the time steer clear sent mine back really disappointing.
I recommend watching our video on where to put the base. The remapping issue and not docking issue means it's most likely this. :) Also, try this for your dock: robomate.co.nz/ecovacs-auto-empty-dock-not-fully-emptying/
It's not actually available in our region for the N8, but I believe it's very similar to the Ozmo Pro on the T8/T9 so the cleaning performance will be the same as those (or very similar).
THis robot is shit dont buy please dont buy! all reviewers say its so good they use it in a small dam apartment this cant even do a medium sized home in one charge please dont buy
