I honestly think all we need is a Left Tackle, Edge rusher & Cornerback. Upgrade those spots & I think the roster is fine. Great review guys #Ramnation 🐏
Wentz should have been signed 🤦♂️ if we have wentz we beat that atrocious Green Bay team hands down I genuinely didn’t know they were that bad my god. Brett rypien is a xfl qb and even that’s a stretch he is horribly bad. Let’s just stay away from any player named “Brett” from here on out.
I was curious about this one and while I have never watched this before, I was curious of their take on Wentz. In the last two seasons they have played the same amount of games more or less. And what's fascinating is that the perception that Wentz had "a ton more fumbles" when the reality isn't anything like it. Wentz has 14 recorded fumbles, just 6 lost fumbles (and some of them were horrific snaps that get docked to the QB, I have watched nearly every game of his). Stafford has 10 recorded fumbles, but lost 5 of them. So I have to ask, knowing the facts, do you still think Wentz fumbles the ball "a ton more" than Stafford or are you just another parrot to what the media puts out there? Also, you say "one, Stafford didn't have an O-Line one of those years," and you ignore that Wentz didn't have one in either year. PFF graded the Colts line as the 30th in the NFL in pass protection. And we know what the Washington O-Line was last year and this year. Compare the two with all TDs vs. turnovers over the last two years (using 2021 and 2022, not using this year for Stafford since he has been hurt and Wentz hasn't played). Wentz has 40 TDs to 22 turnovers...Stafford has 52 TDs to 30 turnovers. No matter how you slice it, Wentz has done more with less than Stafford over 2021 and 2022. The other thing was this overblown injury history. The co-host says Wentz "maybe played one full season," and the reality is he played 3 full seasons no questions asked (2016, 2019, 2021). He was not hurt in 2020, he didn't play the last 4 games because it was obvious he would be traded and they needed a look at Hurts. And in 2018, he missed the start from his knee injury in December 2017, but the Eagles shut him down that year and they shouldn't have. The entire thing was sketchy... he plays lights out on Sunday in Dallas where is last 5 drives were TD-FG-Punt-TD-TD with 3 passing TDs. Now one of them was only a 2-yard drive, but the other TD drives were long. The game goes to OT because Jake Elliott misses a PAT, and in OT, Dallas gets the ball and goes on an 8-minute TD drive and Carson never touches the ball...then they shut him down 2 days later. It was simply weird...
Appreciate you taking the time to listen to the podcast! All of our thoughts are driven by our own hosts perspective of the situations and not pushed by media takes. There can be on occasion where we make mistakes on certain takes or stats, but strive to consistently be better each week. This feedback definitely helps. When comparing Wentz to Stafford, Stafford has our backing 100%. Not quite clear if your saying Wentz should start over Stafford. We mentioned that picking up Wentz should have happened long before now and not to rely on Rypien as the sole backup. Your stats all seem to be accurate, but there has to be a reason Wentz wasn't on anyone roster, especially with the amount of QB injuries hitting the league this year. Hope you continue to listen to us in the future!
@@EastCoastRams I wasn't at all suggesting that Wentz should start over Stafford because they paid Stafford and he won a Superbowl there. But I would be willing to bet the offense would look better with Wentz than Stafford. My point was that you gave inaccurate narratives about Wentz, and then made excuses for Stafford. That's simply not looking at things objectively. I'm just giving some feedback that accuracy matters. The main reason he wasn't on a roster is because teams don't want a backup that can threaten the starter. And he also needed to be selective because his last two teams had some serious management issues (and they still do despite him being gone even though he took the heat for their failures) so you can easily rule out 20 teams as not a good fit.
