Double D was one of the best characters. He was so clever, precise, caring, understanding, well-meaning, intelligent and wise. He should never have been dragged into anything and he should never have got into trouble with the other 2 ed's.
Double D with that deadpan look while dropping an absolute banger on that lap guitar while the others just stare dumbfounded had me in stitches even to this day 😂😂😂
When I was a kid, I could barely understand what Edd would say with his nerd talk. As an adult now, I can understand what he says even though I'm still not intelligent. I mean, I could sort of understand through body language when I was young.
Even though Double D is friends with Ed and Eddy, if there is one person Double D would be great friends with, that be Lucien of the Cramp Twins. Both are intelligent, both love nature, both keep ants and worms for pets respectively and both have wit. I would also include Dexter from Dexter’s laboratory as another guy Double D and Lucien could befriend also.

One of my favorite episodes of this show is when the Edd’s all get Rolf’s cursed phone. I always liked how no matter who answered it ring it would always punish eddy 😂
DoubleD is my absolute favorite of the trio. Brilliant, always available and the only really good Ed (Eddy looks for them a bit, Ed instead has a mania for not thinking).
Don't know why but this scene here 0:59 always cracks me up. I can not stop replaying it over and over. Just the way Double D's face went from excitement to "wtf?" kills me.
