My father spent some time in Fiji on his way to war in Burma during WW2. One of my fondest memories as a boy was my veteran father playing Isa Lei on our old piano in the living room of our home and me trying to sing along with the english words on the old sheets of music he had. Thank you for this beautiful rendition.

Beautifully played but I still prefer it on 12-string with strings slightly muted via a strip of masking tape across the bridge... he refers to that as a “modified 12-string” on his live album 😊. Maybe I just prefer that version because it’s the first version of the song I had heard. But it’s all good
+Paul Gabriel Turcu--- I do believe that you are hearing an older Breedlove--a Dreadnaught of some sort. They later developed a type of guitar, just for him. They are made in Oregon. I have owned a couple of them- fine fine guitars. Great necks on them, slim and easy to play. They are on E-bay ,lots of them.
