Pennsylvania-forged post-grunge titans 'Live' are releasing a 25th anniversary version of their seminal album 'Throwing Copper' on 18th July 2019. Andy Rawll spoke to co-founder and frontman, Ed Kowalczyk about the album and the current tour that celebrates the anniversary.
He speaks about the circumstances around the recording of that album in 1993 and the thunderous success of the lead song 'Lightning Strikes. He also references his solo career that followed band's hiatus in 2009 and his belated return in 2016, whereas the band had originally reconvened in 2012 with Chris Shinn on vocals.
