Ed & Lisa Young’s Story of Hope & Healing as They Grieve the Death of Their Daughter. 

I quit drinking 5 days ago after many years. The Lord is helping me and I am hopeful

33 years since our Tony passed away with similar circumstances. He died just after coming home from a Bible study where he was searching for God in his life. Today and everyday I realize how loving and caring our God is. After this many years and many times since I have sat and wept over our loss but more tears of joy knowing about the awesome God we serve and some day I will be reunited with my Tony. Thank you God and your humble servants Ed And Lisa Young.

I recently experienced the death of my baby sister Annie. My Mom in 2011, and my husband in 2015. Thank you for this testimony. It has helped restore my faith in Jesus Christ.

I was sitting on our couch with my 15 year old son reading Genesis 27 about Isaac and Mount Moriah on Dec 16 2010...10:30am. 2 hours later he was in Heaven with his best friend Jesus. No warning. I feel the shock with you. The pain is searing. God will be more tangible now than ever before in your life. It's crazy and unexplainable at times. Our children lived out their destiny for the Kingdom while they were here.

Your daughter has left a Testimony that will touch the heart of other addicts. I have struggled with alcohol addiction for a long time. I know all too well the struggle and God spared me more times than I can count. I just recently surrendered and this message just popped up out of nowhere. Lord be with this couple in their time of mourning for their daughter Lea Beth. Let your holy spirit hover over them when they get weak wrap them up and comfort them and give them strength and understanding that you have so that they may find comfort knowing you are there.

I pray for your comfort. I also lost my son at 42 I have watched you since you were a young pastor. God has and will continue to bless your ministry.

I’m going through something with one of my kids right now. It’s stressful and I’m having a hard time talking to her. I know I should let it go and just tell her I love her because nothing’s promised to us. I met with someone today who recently lost his son. He told me that he could never imagine living longer than his kids and that I should never take having healthy kids for granted and said to hug my kids and tell them I love them everyday. That was today. I’m still struggling with this, but then I come home and my wife had this on our TV. God’s talking to me and I’m listening. I’m so sorry for any parent who loses a child. I can’t imagine. God bless this family.

Wow..I don’t know how I got here…just finished Life Christchurch feed ( we r in lockdown) we had a similar experience as my son Never got over the Christchurch earthquakes and ended up drinking to sleep. We lived in Melbourne and didn’t understand what was going on. We came home and looked after him for some years ….in the end got him a apartment and we new he would die if he didn’t stop. He died same way. 20 months later the pain has abated somewhat as we truly believe God does things in His time..we just celebrate the time we had him and thank God for the gift of him. God changed us during the time we looked after him….a lesson for us in tolerance. We now realise mourning is about us…God is looking after him..he is Free of pain and suffering. Take heart it will take time God will look after your daughter and you guys too….love and blessings our prayers are with you🙏❤️🙏

I feel that so many of us are coming closer together through pain, loss & the love, hope & joy of being secure in the Blood of Jesus.

This is why we, as the human race, need to be kind and compassionate to one another and especially those of us who profess Christ as Savior and Lord, because if we all sat down and had a real raw truthful conversation with one another, we would discover we're more alike than not. We all have struggles and experience life challenges, expected and unexpected, that may not be the same but still hurts, still painful and suffer all the same! This touched my heart...I lost my son 2 years ago due to a mosquito bite. He was 48 and very healthy. The blessing...the last words we spoke were to our Lord together. My daughter has experienced some of what Lee Beth experienced before her death. I pray for all going through this with a loved one. I pray for all to make ..good choices led by the Holy Spirit.

I understand everything you have said, my son died at 32. I couldn't have made it if it hadn't been for the Lord. I don't know how people do it if they don't know my God and lose a child.

God heard her heart to want to be whole and healed. God heard your prayers for her to be healed. She received the best healing to go home to her Saviour. Because of your testimony God is receiving the most Glory unto Himself. There is no why, because God's ways are higher than our ways. Only Jesus can heal your hearts. We lost our 33 year old Daughter in 2010 in a bad car wreck she had a drinking alcohol addiction we still are grieving we know Cathy is with Jesus, she was a Christian and detacated her life to Christ, she had depression, we know we actually know. We are praying for you all and your family and your congregation. Choices we will never know the why, we do lean on the Promises of God. Dont ever doubt yourself you did all you could do. I am praying your strength, and that your faith doesn't fail you. You have been so honest and it took so much courage to share this. My son passed 2 years ago March 3rd is his anniversary, he was shot. We ask why? I was saved at South Biscayne Church, North Port in 2007. I thank God for Pastor Cross leading me to Jesus Christ. I too lost my third son, Jon, at age 25 due to an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. I have 3 son's. My oldest is 42 and an alcoholic, my 2 nd son is 40 and hooked on meth, my 3rd son fights depression and has had history of drinking, but seems ok now. None want anything to do with Jesus. There father a real hypocrite and myself badly wounded emotionally and spiritually. I started walking with God again and have been praying for my son's. My oldest too has had alcoholic seizures and still drinking and on Kepra for seizures. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your daughter is in heaven. I pray for my son's too. My 2nd son has been homeless for 5 years. If you could I would so appreciate your prayers.

I'm 35 now, a year older than their daughter. I'm so sorry you lost your daughter. I want to say that this scamdemic needs to end. I'm watching it take a lot of my friends due to suicide and substances, not the flu. I'm unemployed and I've lost hope in humanity. There is no freedom or joy in my life. I pray that either Jesus or common sense and courage returns to Earth.

I discovered that asking why even if God didnt seem to answer kept the line of communicstion open . My daughter was 7 years old when she took her leave of this earth . And yes that strange mix of joy snd gladness i fully get it . Thank you for sharing .

As a mother who lost her only son at 14 years of age, my heart goes out to these two parents. I also would think at times, why? He suffered for so long with his disability from birth, then dies from pneumonia? But you know what? God is in control, and I can honestly say with great belief, God was watching out for her, you dedicated her to him, and her time here on earth was done. He took her home to be with him! We never understand God's timing, and that's ok. But I can relate to Lisa's feelings she is having! If you know God, there is a peace he gives you at these times that is beyond what any human can understand. And I experienced that peace also when my son was dying and when he died. Yes I mourned, and cried, but there was a peace inside my heart that only God could provide. She's in heaven, and so is my son! I rejoice and can't wait to see my boy! We love our children and want to protect and help them, but only God can do the best for us all! It was her time, he wanted her with him. God bless you two! My Lord and my God!! Thank you for sharing!! I too have a son hand picked by my Father to be with Him in all eternity and my beautiful husband was just called to join him in the celestial promise. I find peace in my Father and when my cross knocks me down I think of JESUS as he fell on His walk to Calvary. I can say i feel your pain. On February 17 2021 i found my 33 year old son dead. He was under constant attack from satan. He turned to drugs in his depression and sorrow.
