This performance made my day and on Twitter afterwards Oli kept being referred to as "shouty man" by Ed Sheeran fans 😅

After hearing BMTH covering Mood, I was looking forward to seeing them cover more songs. This blew me away. Here's to hoping we see an Ed Sheeran feature on their next EP.

Yeah, I need a studio version of this. I'm not a big Ed Sheeran fan. But I do like this song a lot. It comes on the radio and I usually feel the need turn up the volume a tad. I'd listen to a studio version with BMTH on repeat, no question. Maybe BMTH will work with Post Malone next. Posty actually started out in the metalcore scene. He was in an Asking Alexandria/Attack Attack cover band, haha. So I'm almost certain he'd be down.

The biggest thing for Ed Sheeran for me is the fact that he's making pop music that ACTUALLY HAS LYRICS. Regardless of whether or not you like them, AT LEAST HE'S MAKING THE EFFORT. The most popular songs out now (and for the past decade or so) have been so ridiculously uninspiring lyrically. At least he's writing stuff that has meaning. Also, he's an insane singer.

Oli hurt his voice a while back, those old songs and screams etc wont be the same. He has changed and he's just amazing. I love him to death!

Actually, Oli's harsh vocals are better than they've ever been really. Always throwing lows and screams into live songs and it sounds great

Totally wasn’t expecting this combo but glad we got it!! I think BMTH brought so much to this performance, and I like that Oli’s voice isn’t as perfect as Ed’s, I like a bit of grit! Hoping for a studio version!

I was so happy seeing metal being introduced to a song opening the brits which doesn’t even have a metal category and their alternative/rock was lacking as it is but I’m so glad to see bmth and metal finally getting some representation

What I loved of this performance (from two of my favourite music acts) is that there was an equal level of compromise to highlight the strengths of both Ed and BMTH.

Definitely need a studio of this. That natural grit that Oli has sounds so much better with better accoustics and all the ambient ooOohs from That's The Spirit shine more too. This was a real treat. Big ups to Ed for pushing for this collab since you know he's a big BMTH fan.

One of the best pop/rock mashups I’ve ever heard that someone has made is Linkin Park’s Numb crossed with Ariana Grande’s Into You. No idea why, but it works so damn well. Absolutely worth a listen.

Earned a Sub! I'be been such a follower of Lost in Vegas for so long. But it's refeshing to hear it the otherway around. It does make me think will we hear more of a rock sound from Ed in the future rather than pop. You never know.

I find Oli’s vocals interesting here. His cleans have nice grit but it’s not overdone. His high screams were definitely fry chords, and he for sure damaged them, but I don’t think it’s terrible, especially when he drops them a little. So much better than what it was on That’s The Spirit tours though

The inclusion of BMTH at this "prestigious" ceremony! British music awards!? Props to Ed for actively bringing in Olly and BMTH to this award ceremony. When you actually think about the implications of this collaboration in THIS setting. Its unrivaled. Still to this day.

Oli sounds like Ed if he ate gravel. I say that in the best way possible. They have the same tone. I'm so happy BMTH brought that style to a major audience. I think the vocals should have been blended more together and not such a back and forth but this made my heart so happy.

The hype this generated today just begs for a studio version, would be kickass. As far as production goes, it's the Brits so doesn't surprise. A standalone moment, sort of what Imagine Dragons and Kendrick did for the Grammys, just better seeing how I rate BMTH and Sheeran so much more 😁

I loved that!!! It's rare when you hear other genre's collide like this, like for example, Travis Barker remixed an Illenium song and gave it a pop punk sound. Definitely need to hear more genres collide.

This is such a momumental moment that reaction channels are reacting to a song that's been our for a while just because a band like BMTH was in the title as well and then to hear what they did with the song and for it to be is PHENOMINAL as it was....
