The world would be a better place if we had leaders like Jacinda Ardern.

20 years back I was in NZ with my family, including my parents. After long hours of driving by car, my father took over the stirring wheel. On a piece of road that allowed 70 kph began a gentle downward sloop. I guess my father did not realize that the car was getting somewhat faster. Bang, a police officer caught us for speeding. We showed our papers, the officer ask a few questions. Then he asked my father to better watch out for speed limits and wished us a good day. I was baffled, probably that is also the face I made. Then he said: Your father is obviously not a speeder, and I understand that you don't know the area well. I will never forget this incident. I feel this exactly is the human factor which I often miss in our modern world. I live in Singapore where close to nothing is been forgiven by officials.

Stephen Colbert has a great special with Jacinda Ardern. He interviewed her on his show where they hit it off and she invited him to NZ. Then when he actually took her up on it, she picked him up at the airport in her personal car (an electric Hyundai Ioniq with a child seat in the back) and took him to her home where her husband fired up the bbq. She also took her baby into parliament once, she has done some very amusing tourism ads for NZ and even did an online Q&A during covid lockdown from home dressed in a daggy green sweater, explaining that she had just put her toddler to bed. She's very down to earth and relatable and I think that's one of the reasons she's so popular.

Looks like the whole country of NZ is filled with men like Kane Williamson n ladies like the honourable PM !! 🖤🖤

I think she is one of the warmest and sincerest world leaders out there and gee, shucks, dare I say a bit of a hotty? No seriously, New Zealand, you seem to have a charismatic, honest, relatable leader, you are so lucky.

She made her country covid free with a newborn baby. An icon in women empowerment , people who discriminate against women when they are expecting should learn something from her, an expectant mother will be the most competent being you can find cause she has a lot to live for ahead .

Leaders of the world, pay attention. This is what being a leader of your country is about. Take a long hard look and try and learn from her. If any of you get to even 25% of how good she is, the world would improve dramatically. You need to learn that it's soooo not about you. And if you think it is, you need to resign.
