Jake Williams Agreed, I have the same guitar he is using in this vid and I have learnt this song but man it took time! Ed is just a beast when it comes to guitars and music!
***** yeah I don't find it too hard learning music but for some reason when Im doing songs using bar chords I find it hard too make it sound like the artist who is playing it you know for whatever reason. Ennoys me haha he has so many good songs I really think he is one of the best artists too write music on guitar on a regular basis
***** the hard part is making it sound like the artist who wrote the music. Almost anyone can play a piece but playing it like the artist who wrote it is the hard part..
that was OFF THE HOOK how he handled that looper like a boss and created everything he needed to drop a solid performance on the spot. his coolness got me.
The way he can just single handedly make each and every song he does sound exactly like the radio version is mind blowing. He is by far the most talented and authentic artist who could literally sing anything & it would sound amazing.
Really love his live version. Anybody else know what voicings he's using ? It looks like he's playing 7th chords but I don't hear a 7th in them....is he just muting it ?
im trying to learn this song and im a bit of a noob lol XD Ican play 2 songs and its royals and tenerife sea, so this is the first song im learning to barre my fingers and im struggling haha but im making progress slowly but surely! XD
+Hanna Marie all the guitars he named are guy names cause he said when he's hitting the guitar for a beat he doesn't want to feel like he's hitting a girl hahah
gwynethNbuddy There's 4 chords and 2 finger positionings that repeat to make those. The first is going to be Fm7 on the 8/9/10 frets, then you move that same finger positioning down to frets 3/4/5 for a Cm7. Then, you move to frets 4/6 for a Db and move that same finger positioning up to frets 6/8 for an Eb.
This song never gets old, multiply was an amazing album! Oh, I also just covered this song I am playing drums and singing at the same time! I would really appreciate it if you took a look at it, thanks ✌✌
I was wondering why whenever I try to cover this song the back chorus always sounds like shit. I never heard there was a lower octave in there. What an idiot I am
