I recently took in my guitar to school, just to have something to do in the back of the class while we chilled(were gearing up for midterms, so there’s less to do). I was at a desk in the back of the class, others were on their phones, playing card games, Jenga, etc.. I started playing Dont, because I have fun doing it, and while nobody sang along or anything, everyone eventually looked up and just kind of grooved, and one kid was like “okay woah” after I finished. I just grinned and played something else and things went back to normal. It was a pretty cool moment.

I would lose my focus at that point. If a crowd of only 200 people started singing my song I'd probably not be able to perform, but Ed Sheeran just rolls with it. He soaks it all in and gets better. That's why he's famous and I'm playing guitar as a hobby.
