I adore the way Waters sings this live. My favorite version is Waters singing it in the démonstration in solidarity with Julián Assange. I usually prefer when the guy who wrote the lyrics sings his own words, but is just me.

I assume because his son was not allowed to be in London during the Olympics, due to his behavior during a protest, that his father decided not to perform. A real shame but a fair decision.

It would have been more effective if the guy who went to the trouble of walking the tightrope got burned - not IRL, of course, they could have faked it somehow. Too often, life is like that. All in all, this was an exceptionally good cover, but it lacks that pain-ravaged quality of the original that made it so relatable.

Tbh i am looking at all this videos from London and it is really great. But what i really love are the personal that is covered in blue to hold back the lines. And they have so much fun. I think they had a stress evening but also nice people and they could enjoy this night. Thumbs up for you.

He was first scheduled to perform live in Jakarta by November 2017, but because he cancelled due to his operation in hospital he re-scheduled to perform in the main stadium in Senayan Sports Arena in the Central of Jakarta on last May, this was the first concert in Indonesia after 2 years of cancellation. The concert was promotion by Mandiri credit card and Berlian Entertainment.

When I first saw this I thought it was brilliant but I may have been a little drunk. Watching it years later. 1) I love the fact Ed did this. 2)Great that Nick Mason and Mike Rutherford are involved. 3) love the album cover recreation. However. 4)It was too fast, the crucial guitar breaks were missing, the harmony vox are needed throughout. 5) It wasn't really that good!!

The problem was with the Olympic Channel's (lack of?) sound engineer for their livestream, from which this video is recorded: it sounds much better on the BBC DVD/Blu-Ray set.
