Singing is actually a real way to conquer stuttering . No one actually stutters when they sing, this was a tactic used on the Queen's father who had a terrible stammer/stutter. Watch the movie the King's Speech.
No one can cure a stutter. You can definitely help it but you’ll always stutter here and there even though it’s not severe like it used to be when you were younger.
Lollll I actually love to see Howard interview Em. He only really gets interviewed by hip hop/rap based people these days I'd like a more general interview with him but he's very private especially about his family .. doesn't like talking about his mom, Kim etc .. how things have changed
Ed. We drank shots together one night before you blew up in London. Doing shots and taking about our mutual love for Em. You probably don’t remember, but I always will. This man literally became who he is because of Em. Now he’s singing fuckn STAN with him at his rock and roll hall of fame induction. Proof that some dreams really do come true. God bless buddy 🫡🥃
Our 20 year old daughter was murdered 3 weeks shy of her 21st birthday and she wanted one of ED songs at her wedding. Now we only have 1 daughter left i wish he would sing at her wedding when she gets married only we don't have that kind money. The pain of losing my oldest daughter kills me everyday 🙏❤️😪💔😭🍀
So sorry for your loss. It is truly a hard pill to swallow losing a child, especially when you think they are in the grave and you have to somewhat move on. I have been there, but I console myself with the truth of God's word and that I will see my son again in the afterlife.
I started doing the same thing with EMINEM Recovery album, and after i watch ED say the same thing like 6 years ago, so i used Eminem and Ed Sheeran to stop stuttering since then.
See what happens when you allow kids exposure to what might considered as too old for them. Kids are far more capable of understanding nuonce and the world than many parents think.
You’re right, because of that we had idea what song he is talking about. And it’s really one of the best collaboration of Eminem with other artist, kudos to FILMUSIChris!
before this i had trouble listening to english conversation, i felt they were talking too fast. but after listening to eminem for years, i overcame that listening problem. because when you get used to listening to fast rap, normal conversation seems slow pace now
Crazy respect for Ed’s dad 🤙 From that generation to be able to recognize a young rapper as being that potentially influential and actually ENCOURAGE his son to listen to it? Amazing.
As children when we know something's off because our parents tell us or act differently with us than with others, our friends even some teachers it grossly exaggerates the issue. To be able to use something someone gives us and we decide that we can overcome whatever ails by sheer determination and the wanting to get over it shows a strong character in the making. It is what helps us become the essence of who we are meant to be. Good for you - and look at you now... the naysayers and the bullies be damned huh!
learning the lyrics to Eminem's rap songs helped me to be good in speaking in English and gave me the confidence to do so even with natural born English speakers. It gave me the confidence to start my career. And for nearly 20 yrs now, I have been working with different USA based companies as a customer support specialists. I do wish I can tell Marshall the impact his music made on people's lives.
I had a friend who would stutter so much but would sing with so much fluency no one would know he stutters. So we would make calls and sing our favourite songs to each other on the phone.
The same thing happens to me. Whenever I rap or sing I completely lose my stammer I think it’s because it targets a different part of your brain and also singing helps because it’s a soft flow of the voice and relaxing instead of stopping and starting say words and kinda similar to rapping. I think rapping helps because you’re able to follow a beat and rhythm.
Eminem's music surely can treat stutter. Especially his ultra fast music like Godzilla, Rap God and his no breath verses like in Till I Collapse, Without Me, Godzilla, Rap God etc
Literally had a "car-sette" (old cars) tape of this album, knew every word.. Went to an Italian family friends party Etorè and he had the real CD, saw I adored Eminem, cut me a CD right there and then and gave me the booklet as well, that came in the CD jacket.. Garra love Italians 😅
Yeah Em has done different things for alot of us I don't know if he relies what he's done Em's thee motherfkn RAP GOD #GOAT ALWAYS n Forever and he's the sexiest fkn guy ever wahl man ❤❤👌🔥🔥🔥👑🤘🌠💎😘
Ed's told this story numerous times in interviews when asked about his influences. Then eventually Em's people reached out to Ed to collaborate on the track "River" and they've been friends ever since.
Ed Sheeran you doing good to get where you are now keep doing a good job in your music in making and hope to see a video with your hole family in it that tells a story about your life and congratulations on your new album that is coming out as well love watching the making of your videos they are nice to watch and your music tells story when you do them have another great year Ed Sheeran ❤️🤩🕺
Oh my God. In my early childhood I had a stutter so bad that I literally couldn't breathe without finishing the word I was trying to say and at one point it brought me to literal tears because I couldn't breathe and I remember going to my parents about it (I was talking to myself playing with my imagination at the time) and noticed I couldnt talk normally so I asked for help and wound up stuttering infront of them to the point of not breathing, face going red, and tears swelling in my eyes. I loved to sing. I grew up singing. At some point I got out of my stutter without any speech therapy or such and.. I wonder now if it has anything to do with me singing 😅
Same here. That Eminem album was my first rap music album, along with the Cypreshill. I bought those two albums by saving my lunch money. BND2 per day, 5 days a week. It costs around BND20 or BND22 at that time.
Don't worry about it bro..decent people are patient and will listen to what you're saying. Not how it sounds. I worked with a guy who stuttered and he seemed self conscious about it. But I didn't judge him or laugh at him or anything. I just patiently let him get it out, then i would just normally answer him back. Good people aren't judging just childish or dick heads maybe. Maybe try singing like their talking about here. Good luck to ya bro. We all have some kind of issue.
I'm really not the target audience for Ed Sheerans music - but for some reason youtube showed my a couple of clips and interviews with him over the last couple of days and I gotta say, he seems like a really cool guy.
