you know why? because the daughters see the concert through their phone displays whereas the moms actually live in the moment and enjoy what's happening.
yeah...a lot of people instead doing some pictures or one clip that they can show to their friends, just stand and record 3/4 of the concert instead watching it. And they wont even watch the stuff they record later on :)

The reason he use's "she keeps me warm" is to say even though he is singing about to guys its the same love, i mean are you even listening to the song. she isnt the person who is keeping him warm but the "love" fuckin idiot.
I don't understand why people would prefer a gay singer. The song is about same love. The point is, anyone should be able to sing this song and the love they share with someone be just as beautiful and important as anyone elses. I think having a straight person being able to relate to this song shows far more progression then simply sticking someone up there just because they are gay.
This always makes me cry my uncle and his husband played this version at their wedding and I hope to play it at me and my wife's someday. No matter how much I hear it I cry and get goosebumps.

Man the emotion of this version is deep. So many people singing the song because they love the way it sounds, but remember the lyrics. It's about people not being accepted by some stupid mentality of people who just don't understand and want to understand that we are all beautiful and different people. We are individual people, but we are one human race.
this was such a beautiful performance not only because both ed and macklemore are intense and profound performers but because of the crowd's reaction. there were tears and smiles and singing and it's simply amazing to see a mainstream song about gay rights make an impact this big and beautiful. go ed, go mac.
This has me in tears, I don’t preach that I’m gay but all my friends and family know and are so accepting and I’m so grateful for them all. BUT I know so many people have it different and haven’t been lucky like me and it deeply saddens me to know that acceptance isn’t everywhere and I really wish one day we can just be equal let people be. Just let them be. I really hope if anyone is going through a tough time knows that someone is always going through the same thing and there is A LOT of people out there that will love you for who you are so never give up on who you are and be true to yourself no matter what. ❤️

It's about a 13 year old boy who killed himself because people made fun of him for being gay so he wrote this song in his perspective about equal rights which is really cool and I respect him for that.

I see this in two different perspectives because as a christian we aren't brought up to believe in it and its not about gay people its about allowing the act of rebellion however as a person who supports human rights I believe its a great way to protest about gay rights. I know as a Christian we look in the bible and can read a paragraph and take one thing from it and others can take something completely different.Today our world is so messed up we don't know about all the sins and it's hard figuring out what you believe. I can't express how much this song means to me. I'm afraid to show who I actually am - sexuality, personality, all else - to even the people closest to me. Then I come to music, and songs like *these* play and I'm reminded why I'm still holding on.
This man has the most class of any artist today, always brilliant and always inspiring. I wish more artists would follow his lead and rise above stereotypes.
