Your first step is to find out the local culture and religion. If the local people already have a well established religion then trying to screw up that through conversions is BS. If you still think you should proceed that is called bigotry.
Church planting is by the Holy Spirit. i.e walk by faith not by sight. You can be mute and God will still use you to plant a church. All things are possible with Jesus Christ
So vocational ministry workers should spend all their time doing the work, yet not get paid for any of it? Please explain how they survive on nothing in modern society. *facepalm*

What about if you don't have all that money to spend in "formal prep training " you offer, but be led by the Holy Spirit to have God lead the way, is that possible?

God calls the apostles, equips them, and they all begin as brothers well known to other brothers. He steps out in due season but the idea of seminary training is rubbish, carnal, and whole deficient to walk and do the work of an apostle.
Why? If Jesus Christ is the same today, yesterday, and for ever he is still discipling us directly Marc. We must learn this to be a follower of HIM. Eph.4:21..May you hear the voice of the Shepard and just begin with being a brother..seminary does not equip any one. Walking with Christ by the Spirit does.
What is the way Jesus discipled? He had them watch him, then they helped him he then had times where he would teach them by doing. Along the way he was building into their lives naturally, pragmatically,and supernaturally. He did not teach them in a class lecture formate. It was hands on, walking, casting out devils, healing the sick, teaching by the water. Do you see the difference? Seminary is just humanism, veiled in spiritual language with a veneer of truth to cover the carnality.
