ED64 Plus N64 Flash Cart Review 

Ha yeah. He's done a good review of it, though. I've got the ripoff version of this (yes, a ripoff of the ED64, which is a ripoff of EverDrive lol!) It's called the Super Retro 64, and is red. Other than that it is identical to the ED64Plus, just costs like ten less of whatever your currency is lol. Great product for the price. The current official EverDrive is somewhat better, but costs WAY more. Even if you have a real EverDrive, it's almost worth having one of these to throw in your travel sack so as not to risk the expensive one. The most significant difference between these and the official one is that they're somewhere between the 2.5 and current x3 in terms of features. So you'll be forcing save types on more ROM hacks and Prototypes on the ED64P (or adding them to the 'save_db.txt' file) than you will with the current official EverDrive. Super Retro 64/ED64Plus comes with a 16GB card loaded with the entire NTSC-U and PAL libraries. Plug-n-play. Also has a so-so NES emulator. Plays a fair amount of the NES library with no issues. Doesn't come loaded with any NES games, though. My advice is to swap out the included NES emulator with one called 'Neon64', currently on v2.0-beta.3. Just Google 'Neon64' and you'll find it. Rename 'neon64bu.rom' to 'emu.nes' and copy/paste that into the 'ED64P' folder on the root of the SD card. It will ask you if you want to replace a file of the same name if you didn't delete the included emulator. Say yes, and your ED64Plus now has a half-decent NES emulator which will play most of the biggest titles.

@n64fan60 I have a question, can I use the roms that come with ed64 on the real everdrive by krikzz?

@@paperjin7123 since the knockoff comes with all n64 roms I would copy it onto the everdrive 64

@@rodrigorafael9514 oh, well the firmware won't have those games, although they do come with the ED64 when you buy it (i bought the black one). I think if you find the firmware somewhere on the internet it still probably isn't going to come with the games unfotunately.

@owo グーチmoshi :) mine crashes randomly. Is there a way to fix it or reflash it? The solder joints look all ok.
