Note the Irwin Visegrip locking pliers I show are the 5 inch, not the 6 inch verison.
Here's a look at my mini toolkit with everything I think you'd need to get most jobs done. Have I missed anything? Let me know and we'll make a version 2 together :)

Nice kit, super useful. Ad some steel wire a small magnet and some difrent screws that your skrudrivers are compatible with. Maybe som bankline and some hooks. And don't forget about electric tape and some Teflon tape (you can just wrap it around your lighter, just 50 cm will make it) I also keep some of those electric fast connections in my kit, and a bandana is also nice for cleaning up after myself (you can for the sake of space just ad some alcohol wipes or wond wipes) any ways keep safe and stay prepared👍

Very nice kit! I love my Knipex pliers wrench also. I used it to completely take a sink apart as the only tool used. I would also recommend a small pouch of various lengths of cordage, like paracord and shoe laces and other types, including dental floss.

Great kit! With all my favourite brands: leatherman, knipex, wera, etc. If you ask me, adding a small hammer will make it more complete!

Great kit Felix. I think the case is a great idea and will be switching over to something similar. I would add an extendible magnetic wand, a pencil, a second pair of forceps, and a small assortment of screws, nuts and bolts. A couple of light weight c-clamps can also be useful to hold work in place. I've added a Fresnel lens to mine to read the tiny print on commercial products. If you take a length of coat hanger wire, cover it with the outer sheath of paracord and seal the ends, it makes a great snake or hook.

My only additions are a Schrade mini prybar approx 7.5 inches and a small magnet on a telescopic extender which pick up screws nuts and bolts that get dropped.
@omicrondec
@omicrondec 2 года назад
That Schrade is expensive.. Think I'll stick with a $10 Crescent Pry Bar.

I’d like to take a moment to say thanks for the weight conversion. Lol. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get it right.

At the 8:04 mark, that mini multimeter is a nice thing for a mini set-up. The surgical forceps is something few have thought to include.

Great kit Felix. You certainly gave me some ideas on what to add to mine.

Good kit. My additional suggestions: a relatively long, pokey tool like a flat screw driver or o-ring pick is a handy tool for such a kit; a telescoping rod with magnet; a diagonal sidecutters; mini-pry bar. Tweezers.

Cool kit, just add a telescoping magnet tool, nothing worse than dropping a screw or nut in a place that will only be retrieved by a telescoping magnet! I have a small zip bag for nothing but "connectors" type stuff. Tape, wire, shrink wrap tubes, zip ties, glues, epoxies, etc.

I'm not sure about the mix of items for a grab and go but love the video. Looking forward to MK2.

Great. I also use this same concept but I have all tools in the form of a roll made of strong canvas with several compartments, but the problema is that is rather heavy

To tell you, your kit is great and covers a whole lot of situations. However some of the tools might be swapped for more compact things like your DMM for exemple. As for me I do have a few insulated tools on mine because I work as an electrician.

Great kit! We have a lot of overlap in our bags. :) I loved seeing that Wera mini ratchet and may add that to my kit. Here’s one recommendation: I know you love your Irwin Vice Grip, but I would consider replacing it with the “Engineer” (Japanese tool brand) PZ-64 Screw Removal Locking Pliers. It’s about the same size and function of the Irwin Vice Grip but it has an incredible trick up it’s sleeve in that it has a cutout designed to enable the tip to grab stripped screw heads or even screws that have lost their heads. Check it out!

That Juice S2 is a major collectible. eBay has listings that vary from $90 to as high as $300.

My toolkit has few things but one thing I do have that I recommend is a power drill/screwdriver carried separately due to its size.

Have you overlooked the locking blade on the leatherman? It's not okay to carry without good reason.

Correct Thomas! The Juice S2 is great for people in the UK since it's legal to carry - I really love it. Utility knives are in a grey area as many construction workers carry them, but I wouldn't risk it.
